“On December 9 2024, SAFE proudly hosted an enlightening seminar on ‘Full Reserve Interest-Free Banking: A Solution to Pakistan’s Debt, Inflation, and Unemployment Challenges,’ presented by the highly accomplished finance expert and economist, Mr. Qanit Khalilullah. Drawing from his extensive leadership experience at Unilever Pakistan and Ufone, Mr. Khalilullah educated students on the principles of a full reserve banking system and its potential to eliminate interest-based financial dependency. He provided valuable insights into how this system could address Pakistan’s pressing economic challenges, including reducing national debt, curbing inflation, and tackling unemployment. Through practical examples and expert analysis, he empowered participants to think critically about sustainable economic reforms and encouraged innovative approaches for shaping Pakistan’s financial future.”

The recent stress management seminar, led by Ms. Sumia Kulsoom from the Faculty of Psychology, attracted 66 students eager to learn practical strategies for managing stress in both academic and personal settings. Organized by the SAFE Society under the guidance of Dr. Iftikhar Ali Janjua and Ma’am Jaweria Kh, the event was well-coordinated and fostered a supportive environment for mental well-being. Ms. Kulsoom’s engaging presentation blended psychological insights with relatable examples, equipping students with essential stress management techniques and reinforcing the importance of mental health. The event was a memorable success, highlighting the positive impact of collaboration within the SAFE Society.

What come after Degree

The Department of Accounting and Finance under society of Accounting, Finance & Economics (SAFE) organized a seminar on “What come after Degree” how can you be truly valuable on Thursday, 6th June 2024. The Session was organized under the theme of “soft skill management” by Ms. Saddaf Adalat for the students of BS Accounting and Finance of the graduating batch of 7th & 8th semester. The trainer was Ms. Snober Naseer, Associate Lecturer, CUST. Overall, it was an interactive session and proved to be a great source of knowledge for the participants in their personal and as well as professional life.

The society of Department of Accounting and Finance (SAFE) organized a “Emotional Intelligence” on Tuesday, 4th June 2024. Session themed focuses on important outcomes were appended below:

The Session was organized under “the theme of soft skill management” by Ms. Saddaf Adalat for the students of BS Accounting and Finance of the graduating batch of 8th semester. The resource person was Ms. Sadaf Zeb, Senior Lecturer, CUST. Overall, it was an interactive session and proved to be a great source of knowledge for the participants in their personal and professional life.

Conflict Management”

The Department of Accounting and Finance under the Society of Accounting, Finance & Economics [SAFE] organized a seminar on conflict management, on Monday 3rd June, 2024 3rd semester students under supervision on Ms. Saddaf Adalat teaching course of Principles of Management. The resource person was Dr. Sundas Azeem, Assistant professor, Department of Management Sciences, SZABIST University, Islamabad.

✨️Enhance the partnership for sustainable development

The department of Accounting and Finance, ✨️Society of Accounting, Finance and Economics SAFE, organized a seminar with the collaboration of DSE, CUST on 23rd May 2024. The resource person, *Mr. Hassan Nisar*director worthwhile builders, led the session, aiming to provide crucial talk session on Partnership for sustainable development.

Mr. Hassan Nisar emphasized the significance of mentorship and advised young businesse minds to gain practical experience before venturing into business. He stressed the importance of working together, and innovative idea development.

The seminar concluded with the interactive activity session In which the students had to choose a sdg and write a problem on it, then according to that the students suggested a solution to this problem. Mr. Hassan Nisar offered that whoever will be the winner in this activity, we will give him a paid internship in our organization, in which all the students enthusiastically participated.
