Entrepreneurship offers students a transformative lens through which they can view the world, moving beyond rote memorization toward critical problem-solving and self-reliance. By engaging in entrepreneurial ventures, students develop a "growth mindset" that values adaptability, resilience in the face of failure, and the ability to identify opportunities where others see obstacles. These skills are universally applicable; whether a student eventually launches a startup or enters a corporate environment, the capacity to think innovatively and take calculated risks remains a premier asset in an increasingly volatile global economy.
Recently, students and faculty from the Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS) and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH) attended an Indigenous Entrepreneurship Conference 9.0 organized by the Youth Association of Pakistan, providing students with a unique opportunity to explore business models rooted in cultural heritage, sustainability, and community impact. Such forums allowed participants to learn how to integrate traditional knowledge with modern technology to create ventures that are not only profitable but also socially responsible. By engaging with Indigenous leaders and innovators, students gained a deeper understanding of "Entrepreneurship,” which will prepare them to become the conscientious leaders of tomorrow.

The Futures Ready Summit 2025.

Hamdard University, in collaboration with The Society 5.0 Initiative organized The Futures Ready Summit 2025. The summit provided a platform for students to explore the future opportunities that await them.

The summit featured workshops from Hopeistan (Private) Limited, Khawaja Saud Masud, and Parvaz Foundation, Tariq Khatta, along with a panel discussion with industry experts on the future of AI and scenarios leading to a good job exploration.

Former Judge Mr.Mushir Alam also shared his thoughts with the concluding remarks to the summit.

Having a sustainable environment is the need of tomorrow.

Students along with faculty embarked on making a difference by cleaning trail 5 in Islamabad.

This activity covered the SDG goal 12 and it also helped students to be in a leadership role.

Digitization is the future. Askari Bank in this regard conducted an awareness session on their digital products.

The team from Askari Bank briefed students on their new empowering women digital accounts. Students from FMS participated in the activity.

In order to nurish the young leaders of tomorrow, a session in collaboration with Muslim Hands Model school Jagjot, Islamabad was conducted on " AI the new era".

Mr Saad Babar from Hamdard University delivered an insightful and interactive session. Students of Grade 5 to 8 along with faculty attended the session.

Bridging the gap between Industry and Academia is the main objective of a business school. In order to reduce this gap Faculty of Management Sciences-FMS arranged an industrial trip to Kohsar Steel Mills located in Hattar Industrial Estate.

Students learned the process of furnishing, cooling and many other processes.

As part of faculty development initiative, an interactive session on Encourage Autonomy, Decision Making and Accountability was delivered by Dr. Syed Khalid Ahmed, Assistant Professor, FMS.

The session was attended by faculty members of DPT and FSSH.

Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS) welcomes new students in BBA, BS Accounting & Finance, and BS Digital Marketing.

Mr. Saad Babar, Lecturer at FMS, conducted an orientation for the new students, highlighting the department and providing a briefing about SFC, examinations, and Library services.

AI being the new trend everywhere, it is very important for the youth of today to equip themselves with this new trend.

In order to equip the students of COMSATS Islamabad, Mr.Saad Babar delivered an interactive session on AI for Today's Business Professional.
