25 December – Quaid-e-Azam Day
25th December is observed as Quaid-e-Azam Day to honor the birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Founder of Pakistan. This day reminds us of his great leadership, firm determination, and lifelong struggle for the rights and freedom of Muslims of the subcontinent. His guiding principles — Faith, Unity, and Discipline: continue to inspire the nation toward progress and national integrity.

سانحۂ پشاور

پشاور کی اُس سرد صبح نے پوری قوم کے دل کو لہولہان کر دیا۔ اسکول کی گھنٹی جو علم اور اُمید کی صدا تھی، اچانک سسکیوں میں بدل گئی۔ ننھے ہاتھوں میں کتابیں تھیں، آنکھوں میں خواب تھے، مگر ظلم نے اُن خوابوں کو خون میں نہلا دیا۔ وہ بچے جو کل کے معمار تھے، آج تاریخ کے دردناک باب بن گئے۔

ماں کی دعا ابھی فضا میں تھی کہ خبر نے اُسے چیخ میں بدل دیا۔ باپ کی محنت، استاد کی شفقت اور بچوں کی مسکراہٹ، سب ایک لمحے میں چھن گئی۔ یہ صرف بچوں کا قتل نہیں تھا، یہ انسانیت پر حملہ تھا، علم پر گولی تھی، اور مستقبل کو زخمی کرنے کی سازش تھی۔

اُن کی معصوم قربانی نے ہمارے دلوں میں یہ عہد جگایا کہ نفرت کے مقابلے میں علم، خوف کے مقابلے میں ہمت، اور اندھیرے کے مقابلے میں اُمید کو تھامے رکھیں گے۔ اُن کے لہو نے یہ پیغام لکھ دیا کہ دہشت شکست کھا سکتی ہے، مگر حوصلہ نہیں۔

آج بھی جب اسکول کی گھنٹی بجتی ہے تو دل رک سا جاتا ہے، مگر ساتھ ہی ایک آواز اُبھرتی ہے، ہم پڑھیں گے، ہم سکھائیں گے، ہم جئیں گے۔

اللہ اُن معصوم شہداء کو جنت الفردوس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا فرمائے، اور اُن کے والدین کو صبرِ جمیل دے۔ آمین۔
