The most difficult part was convincing the children to wear a helmet.
Their objection was that kids and adults “laugh” at them.
It reminded me of something my industrial instructor said almost three decades ago. When he was teaching the subject of “Safety,” many of us laughed the first time we heard about safety rules…
Seeing this, the instructor said:
“When we teach people about safety, they laugh. But when God forbid something happens, then they cry.”
If trials are written in destiny, then precaution is still in our control. We must adopt the safety measures that are our responsibility.

سب سے مشکل مرحلہ بچوں کو ہیلمٹ پہننے پر آمادہ کرنا تھا۔
اعتراض یہ کہ بچے اور بڑے "ہنستے" ہیں۔
مجھے تقریبا تین دہائی قبل اپنے انڈسٹریل انسٹرکٹر صاحب کی ایک بات یاد آ گئی۔ جب وہ "سیفٹی" کا مضمون پڑھا رہے تھے۔ پہلی مرتبہ جب سیفٹی رولز کے بارے میں سنا تو ہم میں سے کافی سارے لڑکے ہنسنے لگے۔۔۔۔
یہ دیکھ کر انسٹرکٹر صاحب بولے، کہ جب ہم لوگوں کو سیفٹی پڑھاتے یا سکھاتے ہیں تو ہنستے ہیں۔ جب خدانخواستہ کچھ ہو جاتا ہے تو پھر روتے ہیں۔۔۔
آزمائشیں اگر تقدیر میں ہیں تو "تدبیر" ہمارے اختیار میں ہے۔ جو حفاظتی تدابیر ہمارے ذمہ ہیں وہ ضرور اختیار کرنی چاہیے۔

A big breaking news for Pakistan oil and gas sector.

Pakistan awards 23 offshore exploration blocks in first bidding round in nearly two decades.
Among the successful bidders are state-run Oil and Gas Development Co. Ltd. (OGDCL), Pakistan Petroleum Ltd. (PPL), MariEnergies, and privately owned Prime Energy, backed by Hub Power Company (Hubco).
Foreign and private-sector partners include Turkiye’s national oil company TPAO, Hong Kong-based United Energy Group, Orient Petroleum, and Fatima Petroleum, part of Pakistan’s Fatima Group conglomerate.
The winning consortiums collectively pledged about $80 million in exploration work over the first three years, with total investment potentially rising to $750 million to $1 billion if drilling proceeds, the ministry said.
