🏆 Capital University of Science and Technology is proud to announce that its debating team has secured First Position in the Pakistan Universities Debating Championship (PUDC) 2024–25 National Round, organized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at H-9, Islamabad.
This outstanding achievement reflects the University’s continued commitment to excellence in both academic and co-curricular endeavors. Ms. Asma Qandeel, the focal person and head of the Debate Championship at CUST, played a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring the team toward this remarkable national victory.
Heartiest congratulations to the winning team, their mentors, and especially Ms. Asma Qandeel for bringing this national honor to CUST.
The team members — Ms. Malalai Noor Khan, Ms. Olya Zahra, and Ms. Sarah Tariq — delivered outstanding performances, earning high praise for their eloquence, clarity, and critical thinking from the judges as well as the Chief Guest, Ms. Wajiha Qamar, Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training.
