**The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:**

“Marry women, for through them you will attain wealth.”

Ibn Abī Shaybah, Hadith no. 16161

In this hadith, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ draws attention to an important blessing of marriage. Marriage is not merely an emotional or social need; rather, it is also a means of provision, expansion, and blessing granted by Allah Almighty. When a person enters into marriage, they live with responsibility, diligence, and trust, as a result of which Allah grants ease and increase in their sustenance.

Here, the meaning of “attaining wealth” is not limited to immediate or apparent material riches. Rather, it includes blessings, ease, inner peace, and the availability of lawful means of livelihood. The Qur’an and Sunnah repeatedly point to the reality that Allah grants self-sufficiency and provision through marriage, provided that one’s intention is sincere and reliance is placed upon Allah.

This hadith teaches us that one should not fear a decrease in provision due to marriage. Marriage is a Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ and contains goodness for both this world and the Hereafter. Whoever marries while placing their trust in Allah, Allah opens the doors of sustenance for them and blesses their life with abundance.

اللہ نے اصحاب کہف کو ان کے ایمان کی حفاظت کا راستہ دکھایا، اپنے پوشیدہ حکم سے انہیں صدیوں زندہ رکھا۔ وہی آپ کو بھی گمراہی کے وقت ہدایت دے، اور جب ساری دنیا مخالف ہو تو آپ کی حفاظت فرمائے۔ جمعۃ رحمہ۔

زندگی میں ہر چیز ایک دن آپ کو چھوڑ جائے گی لیکن اللہ ہمیشہ آپ کے ساتھ رہے گا۔ جمعہ مبارک۔
