**The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:**

“Marry women, for through them you will attain wealth.”

📖 **Reference:**
Ibn Abī Shaybah, Hadith no. 16161

In this hadith, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ draws attention to an important blessing of marriage. Marriage is not merely an emotional or social need; rather, it is also a means of provision, expansion, and blessing granted by Allah Almighty. When a person enters into marriage, they live with responsibility, diligence, and trust, as a result of which Allah grants ease and increase in their sustenance.

Here, the meaning of “attaining wealth” is not limited to immediate or apparent material riches. Rather, it includes blessings, ease, inner peace, and the availability of lawful means of livelihood. The Qur’an and Sunnah repeatedly point to the reality that Allah grants self-sufficiency and provision through marriage, provided that one’s intention is sincere and reliance is placed upon Allah.

This hadith teaches us that one should not fear a decrease in provision due to marriage. Marriage is a Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ and contains goodness for both this world and the Hereafter. Whoever marries while placing their trust in Allah, Allah opens the doors of sustenance for them and blesses their life with abundance.

1. Children are a trust from Allah... and negligence of this trust is not just physical abuse... but also abandoning their upbringing...!
2. Children don't do what you say... children do what you do...!
3. Before urging them to pray... create an environment of prayer in the home...!
4. Unlawful earnings...! They sn**ch the light of faith from a child's heart...!
5. Parents who do not pray for their children... lose the greatest source of their own strength...!
6. Upbringing without love is tyranny... and love without upbringing is spoiling...!
7. A mother's lap is the first school... and a father's character is the first book...!
8. Giving time to your children is the most precious charity...!
