CELEBRATING SPECIALISED M2 COMPLETION & RESEARCH
FAST-NUCES × Polytech Nantes, France
An international partnership becomes meaningful when it creates opportunities that students can actually experience.
Two FAST-NUCES graduates have progressed into specialized M2 programs at Polytech Nantes, France, turning an institutional partnership into a tangible academic pathway.
Muhammed Rafiq, a FAST-NUCES Electrical Engineering graduate and Gold Medalist in MS Electrical Engineering, pursued M2 Embedded Technologies and Artificial Intelligence at Polytech Nantes, followed by a research internship on Hardware Trojan Detection using Side-Channel Analysis under the supervision of Dr. Sebastian Pillement.
Syed Wajeeh Rizvi, a FAST-NUCES Data Science graduate, pursued M2 Visual Computing at Polytech Nantes and undertook a research internship focused on the Prediction of Hematological Toxicities in patients undergoing 177 LU-PSMA therapy using CT/PET radiomic features and clinical variables, under the supervision of Prof. Nicolas Normand and Mr. Ludovic Ferrer of Institut de Cancérologie de l’Ouest.
These journeys represent more than international study. They demonstrate how sustained institutional relationships can develop into academic progression, specialized training and research exposure for FAST-NUCES graduates.
This milestone reflects the continued commitment of FAST-NUCES, and Polytech Nantes in creating meaningful international academic pathways for our graduates.
