(This is English translation of Sir Zia Article)
I would like to present few words to all the staff, assistants, friends and acquaintances of Milkyway Foundation. And I am presenting these words as Ex-Imam Zia! The person who always stood at the back of the people at every difficult moment. And Who is also a student of cosmology and philosophy for the past seven years.
The corona virus has not been controlled. There is no cure for it. It's rapidly spreading. The only cure is social distance and isolation.
The virus has impaled the world's developed nations. People shed tears of blood, they are deprived to attend the funerals of their loved ones, we saw the mourning victims of CORONA appealing from the hospitals of Europe and America saying! 'Please! stay at home '. Pakistan does not has enough facilities and resources. If the virus spreads, there could be severe chaos and disorder.
1- You should never have the misconception that businesses and markets are being opened and mosques are flourishing, thus, believing that everything is under control. It is possible that things may get worse. The government can't afford more strictness as it can't feed millions of people, as China did in Wuhan.
2- Don't be fooled by the boldness of some so-called religious scholars who say, "Look, we hugged and shook hands." They are expressing such boldness in order to intimidate the people by their heroism, piety and knowledge.
In fact, these people are saying that they are not afraid of God's punishment and they can challenge it.
In this regard, kindly keep in mind the event of Hazrat Umar (RA).
At the end of 6 AH, the plague (taghoon) started from Amwas and spread to the whole region between Syria and Iraq, and continued for a month. Once for a short time it retreated but then it returned with more severity. In all, it took the lives of 53 thousand Muslims. This was the epidemic that led to the return of Hazrat Umar (RA) to Medina after reaching the Jabia. When He heard the news of the plague, He consulted with the Muhajireen and Ansar. Some of them said that he can't return without completing the task for which He had come. Others suggested that it was not appropriate to endanger the Companions of the apostle. When he decided to return, Abu ‘Ubaydah ibn Jarrah said, ‘Are you fleeing from the decree of Allah?’ ‘Umar (RA) said, ‘If only someone other than you had said that, Abu ‘Ubaydah!’
Yes, ‘we are fleeing from the decree of Allah to the decree of Allah‘. Do you think that if you had camels and they went down into a valley which had two sides, one of which was fertile and the other barren. Is it not that if you grazed them on the fertile side, then that grazing would be by the decree of Allah, and if you grazed them on the barren side, then that grazing would also be by the decree of Allah?’
‘Abdur Rahman ibn ‘Awf -who had been absent on some errand- then came and said, ‘I have some knowledge regarding this issue. I heard Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) say,
“When you hear that [a plague] is in a land, do not go to it and if it occurs in a land that you are already in, then do not leave it, fleeing from it.'”
‘Umar praised Allah [due to him making the correct decision] and then left.”
The victims of this disease included companions such as Hazrat Abu'bida, Ma'az bin Jabal, Abdurrahman ibn Ma'ad, Ibn Abi-Sufyan (RA). Two sons of Khalid bin Waleed (RA) also died in the plague.

My dear colleagues!
In this regard, you should also keep the following hadiths in mind.
عَنْ عَائِشَۃَ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْھَا أَنَّہَا سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الطَّاعُوْنِ فَأَخْبَرَہَا نَبِیُّ اللہِ صَلَّی اللہُ عَلَیْہِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّہُ کَانَ عَذَابًا یَبْعَثُہُ اللہُ عَلٰی مَنْ یَّشَائُ فَجَعَلَہُ اللہُ رَحْمَۃً لِلْمُؤْمِنِیْنَ فَلَیْسَ مِنْ عَبْدٍ یَقَعُ الطَّاعُوْنُ فَیَمْکُثُ فِیْ بَلَدِہٖ صَابِرًا یَعْلَمُ أَنَّہُ لَنْ یُصِیْبَہُ إِلَّا مَا کَتَبَ اللہُ لَہُ إِلَّا کَانَ لَہُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِ الشَّہِیْد۔
Narrated `Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) that she asked Allah’s Apostle about the plague and Allah’s Apostle informed her saying, Plague was a punishment which Allah used to send on whom He wished, but Allah made it a blessing for the believers. None (among the believers) remains patient in a land in which plague has broken out and considers that nothing will befall him except what Allah has ordained for him, but that Allah will grant him a reward similar to that of a martyr.
SAHIH BUKHARI HADITH NO. 5734.
The following Ahadith further support this.
لا یوردن ممرض علی مصح (صحیح مسلم حدیث نمبر ۵۷۹۱
the Prophet, PBUH, said: «The sick camel should not be taken to the healthy one»
Also, the Prophet, peace and blessing be upon him, said: «And run away from a l***r as you would run away from a lion». بخاری:5707)‘‘۔
One is commanded to guard himself against the cause of destruction if he is free from them. Same as one is enjoined not to throw himself in fire, water, under wreckage and the like of the other causes of destruction and harm, he is also ordered to keep away from the sick such as the l***r or entering a country that is afflicted by plague.
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“Do not keep looking at those who have leprosy.” Ibn Maja Vol. 4, Book 31, Hadith 3543
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, ' one should run away from the l***r as one runs away from a lion.'' Sahih al-Bukhari 5707
عن أنس بن مالك قَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَعْقِلُهَا وَأَتَوَكَّلُ أَوْ أُطْلِقُهَا وَأَتَوَكَّلُ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اعْقِلْهَا وَتَوَكَّلْ
2517 سنن الترمذي كتاب صفة القيامة والرقائق والورع
Anas ibn Malik reported: A man said, “O Messenger of Allah, should I tie my camel and trust in Allah, or should I leave her untied and trust in Allah?” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Tie her and trust in Allah."

a man from the family of Sharid whose name was Amr, that his father said: "There was a l***r among the delegation of Thaqif. The Prophet (saw) sent word to him: 'Go back, for we have accepted your oath of allegiance.'"
Ibn Maja Hadith No: 3544
Narrated Ibn Abbas:
The people of Yemen used to come for Hajj and used not to bring enough provisions with them and used to say that they depend on Allah. On their arrival in Medina they used to beg the people, and so Allah revealed, "And take a provision (with you) for the journey, but the best provision is the fear of Allah." Bukhari (2.197).

Those who say, we trust in Allah and there is no need for precaution, they are wrong, to adopt the causes is trust, not to depend on the causes. According to Sahih Muslim, Hazrat Umar (RA) did not go to the plague-stricken territory, he was careful. Therefore, today the faith, piety and trust of a person cannot be greater than that of Hazrat Umar (RA).
3- Follow the doctor's advices in this regard. Allaah says!
فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ( النحل43)
"Then ask those who possess the Message (ahl adh-dhikr) if you do not know."
[ Al-Qu'ran 21:7 and 16:43].
قل ھل یستوی الذین یعلمون والذین لا یعلمون ۔''
'Say, ‘Well, can the people who possess knowledge and those who do not, become equal?’ (سورۃ الزمر الایہ 9)

4- Two million people have affected and a further one hundred seventy thousands have died. Yet, Contemplate this verse of God as you observe the boldness, courage and fearlessness of people in the face of this plaque.
ولقد ذرانا لجھنم کثیرا من الجن والانس لھم قلوب لا یفقہون بہاولہم اعین لا یبصرون بھا ولھم آذان لا یسمعون بھا اولئک کالانعام بل ھم اضل
And We have certainly created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind. They have hearts with which they do not understand, they have eyes with which they do not see, and they have ears with which they do not hear. Those are like livestock; rather, they are more astray. It is they who are the heedless.
( سورہ اعراف آیت ۱۷۹)
صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ (18)
5- Some people are fascist. They see the killing of millions of people very essential for the fulfillment of their goals. These people do not value human life or the fear of God. These people, upon seeing the torment, announce without hesitation!
ھذا عارض ممطرنا ۔
Allah Almighty addressing such people!
بل ھو ماستعجلتم بہ
This is the chaos and terror you were ambitious for, take it.
6- Some videos show PM Imran Khan is crying. Crying is his only option. What more a leader can do In such helplessness. The doom and gloom of Europe and America and our incapability is before our eyes. Even if he arranges a living and bread for his people, who will stop it from getting into the belly of thousands of corrupt officials?
7- We complain to M***i Taqi Usmani that M***i Muneeb is a sincere person but you are a researcher. In these circumstances, each institution issues its own protocol. You ought to appear at the press conference after having adequate research and possible solutions. Of course, you did not do this for your own sake, but for the sake of thousands of mosques and madrassas, however, you should have highlighted the precautionary measures. For example, Keeping distance between the prayer rows, wearing masks or not, what should be the sanitizer's arrangement at the mosques gates. Keeping in view the war situation in this regard. Considering the steps such as wearing shoes, armor, and praying one rak'ahs. We are not objecting as the situation is strange, rather we can complain.
If you are in the other corner of the world, my sister and brother-in-law feel very fortunate to serve you. My wife feels proud to be your translator on the stage of one of the the world's most powerful platform for peace. We think you are our's own and this is why we can complain.

I urge you all to strictly adhere to safety measures. Wear masks and gloves. Buy your tomorrow's accessories today and leave it without touching for 24 hours. Use soap and dettol. Try to engage in any academic activity and study. Strictly refrain from flourishing the markets in the name of livelihood. Let the utensils of my house be consumed but your stoves shall not be cold.
This foundation works for education. We are not seasonal frogs however, stand by the foundation in serving the people, if the situation worsens. Disciplinary action has already been taken for negligence in this regard. We value your safety.
میں ضیاء الحق اپنےفاونڈیشن کےجملہ سٹاف ، معاونین ، احباب اوردوستوں سے کچھ گذارشات عرض کرنا چاہتاہوں۔ اور یہ گذارشات میں سابقہ امام ضیاء کی حثیت سے عرض کر رہاہوں۔ وہ شخص جو ہر مشکل گھڑی میں قوم و ملت کی پشت پر کھڑا رہا ہے۔ جو عرصہ سات سال سے فلکیات اور فلسفہ کا
طالب علم بھی ہے۔
کورونا وائرس نہ توکنٹرول ہواہے۔ نہ اسکا کوئی علاج ہے۔ یہ پیھل رہا ہے۔ اسکا واحد علاج معاشرتی فاصلہ اور گوشہ نشینی اختیار کرنا ہے۔
اس وائرس نے دنیا کی ترقی یافتہ اقوام کو بےبس کر دیا۔ لوگ خون کے آنسو روۓ، اپنے عزیزواقارب کی تدفین میں شرکت سے محروم ہوے، ہم نے یورپ و امریکہ کے ہاسپیٹلز سے وائرس کے شکار لوگوں کی دردمندانہ اپیلیں دیکھیں کہ خدارا گھروں میں بیٹھے رہیں۔
پاکستان کے پاس سہولیات اور وساۂل نہیں ہیں۔اگر یہ وائرس پیھلتا ہے تو شدید افراتفری اور بد نظمی پیدا ہو سکتی ہے۔
ا ۔ آپکو کاروبار کھلے نظرآنے اور بازاروں ومساجدمیں رونقیں عود آنے پراس غلط فہمی کا شکار ہرگز نہیں ہونا چاہیے کہ سب کنٹرول میں آگیا۔ یہ عین ممکن ہے کہ معاملات خراب ترہوجائیں۔ حکومت سختی اس لیے بھی نہیں کر سکتی کہ وہ کروڑوں لوگوں کو کھا نا نہیں دے سکتی جیسا کہ چین نے ووہان میں دیا۔
ب۔ آپکو کچھ نام نہاد لوگوں کی دیدہ دلیری غفلت پر نہ آمادہ کر دے جو کہتے ہیں کہ دیکھیں ہم نے معانقہ کیا، مصافحہ کیا۔ وہ اس لیے یہ کہتے ہیں تاکہ لوگوں پراپنے ھیروازم ، تقوی اور علم کا رعب ڈال سکیں۔
در حقیقت یہ لوگ یہ کہہ رہے ہیں کہ ہم خدا کے عذاب سے نہیں ڈرتے ہم تو اسکو چیلنج کرتے ہیں۔
اس ضمن میں حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کا واقعہ پیش نظر رکھیں۔
۱۷ہجری کے اواخر میں طاعون عمواس سے شروع ہو کر شام و عراق کے پورے درمیانی علاقے میں پھیل گیااورمسلسل ایک ماہ جاری رہا۔ ایک دفعہ اس کی شدت کچھ کم ہوی لیکن پھر لوٹ آئ ۔ مجموعی طور پر اس نے۵۲ ہزارمسلمانوں کی جانیں لیں۔ معرکۃ الجزیرہ کے سلسلے میں سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے جابیہ نامی مقام تک پہنچ کر مدینہ واپس لوٹنے کی وجہ یہی وبا تھی۔ انھوں نے طاعون کی خبر سن کر مہاجرین و انصار سے مشاورت کی تو کچھ نے کہا کہ آپ جس کام سے آئے ہیں، اسے پورا کر کے لوٹیں۔ دوسروں نے مشورہ دیا کہ جید اصحاب رسول کووبا کے خطرے میں ڈالنا مناسب نہیں ہے۔ جب انھوں نے واپسی کا فیصلہ کر لیا تو ابوعبیدہ بن جراح رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا کہ کیا اللہ کی تقدیر سے بھاگ رہے ہیں؟ عمررضی اللہ عنہ کا جواب تھا: ہاں، ہم اللہ کی ایک تقدیر سے اس کی دوسری تقدیر کی طرف بھاگ رہے ہیں۔ اس موقعہ پر عبدالرحمن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ فرمان نبوی سنا کر عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے موقف کی تائید کی:
''جب تم کسی قوم کی سر زمین میں طاعون پھیلنے کی خبر سنو تو وہاں نہ جاؤ اور جب یہ اس جگہ پھوٹے جہاں تم موجود ہو تو اس سے فرار کی خاطر وہاں سے نہ نکلو۔'' (بخاری)
اس مرض کے شکار ہونے والوں میں حضرت ابوعبیدہ،معاذ بن جبل،عبدالرحمن بن معاذ، ابن ابی سفیان رضی اللہ عنہم جیسے صحابہ شامل تھے۔حارث بن ہشام کے ساتھ شام جانے والے ان کے ۰۷/اہل خانہ میں صرف ۴ بچ پائے۔ خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ کے ۰۴ بیٹوں نے اس وبا میں جان دی۔

آپ اس سلسلے میں مندرجہ ذیل احادیث بھی پیش نظررکھیں۔

(بخاری ،کتاب الطب ، باب اجر الصابر فی الطاعون ،۴/۳۰ حدیث: ۵۷۳۴)
ترجمہ :
اُمُّ الْمُؤمِنِیْن حضرتِ سَیِّدَتُنا عائشہ صِدِّیقہ رَضِیَ اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَنْہَا سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے نبیِّ کریم صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم سے طاعون کے بارے میں دریافت کیا تو رسُولُ اللہ صَلَّی اللہُ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم نے ان سے فرمایا: طاعون ایک عذاب تھا کہ اللہ عَزَّوَجَل جس پر چاہتااسے بھیجتا ۔ پھر اللہ عَزَّوَجَل نے مؤمنین کے لئے اسے رحمت بنادیا۔ تو جو شخص طاعون پھیلنے کے زمانے میں اپنے شہر میں صبرکے ساتھ طلب ثواب کے لئے اس اعتقاد کے ساتھ ٹھہرا رہے کہ اسے وہی پہنچے گا جو اللہ عَزَّوَجَلَّ نے اس کے لئے لکھ دیا ہے تو اس کے لئے شہید کی مثل ثواب ہے۔
مندرجہ ذیل ارشادات بھی ملاظہ ہوں ۔
لا یوردن ممرض علی مصح (صحیح مسلم حدیث نمبر ۵۷۹۱) بیمار اونٹ کو تندرست اونٹ کے پاس مت لے کر جاؤ ۔
اسی طرح جذامی مریض سے بچنے کے لیے آپ ﷺ نے اس سے ایک نیزہ کے فاصلہ سے بات چیت کرنے کی تاکید کی ۔
حدیث میں ہے:
کلم المجذوم بینک و بینہ قید رمح (التیسیر بشرح الجامع الصغیر۲/۲۲۰)
آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا:'' جذام کے مریض سے بچوجیسے تم شیر سے بچتے ہو ‘ (بخاری:5707)‘‘۔
عمرو بن شرید نے اپنے والد سے روایت کی، کہا : ثقیف کے وفد میں کوڑھ کا ایک مریض بھی تھا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کو پیغام بھیجا : ہم نے (بالواسطہ) تمھاری بیعت لے لی ہے، اس لیے تم (اپنے گھر) لوٹ جاو۔
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ:ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا: کیا اونٹنی کو باندھ کر توکل کروں یا بغیر باندھے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: باندھو اور اللہ پر بھروسہ کرو۔(سنن ترمذی،)
حضرت عبد اللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ: اہلِ یمن بغیر ساز و سامان کے حج کرنے کے لیے آتے اور کہتے کہ ہم اللہ پر توکل کرتے ہیں، لیکن جب مکہ مکرمہ پہنچتے تو لوگوں سے سوال کرنا شروع کر دیتے، چنانچہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے قرآن کی سورہ البقرہ میں آیت: ۱۹۷ نازل فرمائی کہ:” حج کے سفر میں زادِ راہ ساتھ لے جایا کرو۔“ (صحیح بخاری )
بخاری شریف میں ہے کہ رسول اللہ نے ارشاد فرمایا، کوڑھی سے یوں بھاگو، جیسے شیر سے خوفزدہ ہو کے بھاگتے ہو، گویا ایسے موقعے پر وائرس زدہ کا سامنا کرنا نہیں، اس سے بچنا سنت ہے۔ جو لوگ کہتے ہیں، ہمیں اللہ پر توکل ہے اور احتیاط کی کوئی ضرورت نہیں ، وہ غلط کہتے ہیں، اسباب اختیار کرنا توکل ہے، اسباب سے بے نیازی توکل نہیں۔ صحیح مسلم کے مطابق حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ طاعون زدہ شام نہیں گئے تھے، انھوں نے احتیاط کی تھی۔ چنانچہ آج کے کسی بھی شخص کا ایمان، تقویٰ اور توکل حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے زیادہ نہیں ہو سکتا۔
ج۔ اس ضمن میں ڈاکٹرز کے مشوروں پر عمل کریں۔ اللہ تعالی نے فرمایا۔
فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِن كُنتُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ( النحل43)
اللہ عزوجل فرماتے ھیں ۔
قل ھل یستوی الذین یعلمون والذین لا یعلمون ۔''
کہہ دیجئے ! کیا علم والے اور جاہل برابر ہو سکتے ہیں ؟۔'' (سورۃ الزمر الایہ 9)
20 لاکھ لوگ متاثر ہوے، ڈیڑھ لاکھ سے ذیادہ لقمہ اجل بن گیے۔ پھر بھی لوگوں کی دیدہ دلیری اور عذاب الہی سے بے خوفی کا مشاہوہ کرنے پرخدا کے اس فرمان کو ذھین نشین کریں۔
لھم قلوب لا یفقہون بہاولہم اعین لا یبصرون بھا ولھم آذان لا یسمعون بھا اولئک کالانعام بل ھم اضل
ان کے دل ہیں وہ ان سے سمجھتے نہیں اور آنکھیں ہیں وہ ان سے دیکھتے نہیں اور کان ہیں کہ وہ ان سے سنتے نہیں وہ ایسے ہیں جیسے چوپائے بلکہ وہ ان سے بھی زیادہ گمراہ ہیں۔‘‘ ( سورہ اعراف آیت ۱۷۹)
صُمٌّ بُكْمٌ عُمْيٌ فَهُمْ لَا يَرْجِعُونَ (18)
کچھ لوگ فاشسٹ ذہنیت کے حامل ھوتے ھیں ۔ وہ اپنے مقاصد کی بار آوری کے لئے لاکھوں لوگوں کے قتل کو از حد ضروری تصور کرتے ہیں ۔ یہ لوگ نہ انسانی جان کو اہمیت دیتے ہیں نہ ہی خدا کے عذاب کو خاطر میں لاتے ہیں ۔ یہ لوگ عذاب کو دیکھ کر بے فکری سے کہ دیتے ہیں !
ھذا عارض ممطرنا ۔
ایسے لوگوں کو اللہ عزوجل نے مخاطب کر کے فرمایا !
بل ھو ماستعجلتم بہ
آپ تو افرا تفری اور دہشت کے طلبگار ہیں ۔ لیجئے حاضر ہے ۔
آج تیرہ سوسال بعد خانہ کعبہ پھر سے بند ہے ۔ لیکن آج کا کورونا حجاج بن یوسف سے زیادہ سنگدل ثابت ہوا ہے۔ اور ہمارے پاس ابن زبیر جیسے شاہسوار بھی نھیں ہے ۔

د۔ ہمیں مفتی تقی عثمانی صاحب سے شکوہ ہے کہ مفتی منیب صاحب تو مخلص انسان ہیں لیکن آپ ایک مححق ہیں۔ ان حالات میں ھر ادارہ اپنے پروٹوکول جاری کرتا ہے۔ آپ اپنی تحقیق لیکر پریس کانفرس میں بیٹھتے ۔ یقیقنا آپ نے ایسا اپنی ذات کے لیے نہیں کیا بلکہ لاکھوں مساجد و مدارس کو پیش نظر رکھا لیکن آپ احتیاطی تدابیر پر روشنی ڈالتے ۔ نمازی صفوں میں فاصلہ رکھیں یا نہیں ، وہ ماسک پہنیں یا نہیں ، مساجد کے گیٹ پر سینیٹائزر کا کیا اہتمام ہو۔ اس ضمن میں جنگی حالات کو مد نظر رکھتے ۔ جنگ کے دوران جوتے، زرہ پہننے ، اور نماز کو ایک ایک رکعت کر کے پڑھنے جیسے اقدامات کو مد نظر رکھ کر آپ اپنی تحقیق پیش کرتے۔ہم معترض نہیں ہیں۔ کیونکہ حالات ایسے ہیں۔ لیکن شکوہ تو کر سکتے ہیں۔
آپ دنیا کے دوسرے کونے میں ہوں تو میری بہن اور بہنوئ آپکی میزبانی کو باعث سعادت سمجھتے ہیں ۔ امن کے لئے منعقد دنیا کے طاقتور پلیٹ فارم کے سٹیج پر میری بیوی آپکی ترجمان بننے پہ فخر کرتی ہیں ۔ آپ کو ہم اپنا سمجھتے ہیں اور اسی لئے گلہ کر سکتے ہیں۔
میری تمام احباب سے گذارش ہے کہ آپ حفاظتی اقدامات پر سختی سے کا ربند رہیں۔ماسک اور دستانے پہنیں۔ کل کی استعمال کی چیزیں اج خریدیں۔ اور ا نہیں چوبیس گھنٹے تک بغیر ہاتھ لگاۓ چھوڑ دیں۔ صابن اور ڈیٹول کا استعمال کریں۔ کوشش کریں کہ علمی سرگرمی اور مطالعہ میں مصروف ہو جاہیں۔ روزی روٹی کے بہانے بازاروں کی رونق بڑھانے سے سخت اجتناب کریں ۔ میرے گھر کے برتن بھی بھک جائیں لیکن انشاءللہ آپکے چولہے ٹھنڈے نہیں ھونے دینگے ۔ یہ فاونڈیشن تعلیم کے لئے کام کرتا ہے ۔ ہم موسمی مینڈک نہیں ہیں ۔ لیکن حالات زیادہ خراب ہونے کی صورت میں خدمت خلق کے کاموں میں فاونڈیشن کے شانہ بشانہ کھڑے رھیں ۔ اس ضمن میں غفلت برتنے پر پہلے ہی تادیبی کاروائ کی جا چکی ہے۔ آپکی حفاظت ہمیں بہت عزیز ہے۔

Breaking the shell of unreal self - A plunge from essence into existence

My Dear Jibran!
You taunted me for some reasons yesterday. Well, it doesn’t really matter to me as the honor conferred upon me by the others really scares me now. Do me a favor; keep me apart from illogical and meaningless honors of yours. Illogical honor is dishonor in the real.
You hold that Prof Dr. Shahood is alive as he earns and eats. But I know that he is not alive, he merely has an existence; such an existence that is cursed under bearing the burden of ‘unreal existence’. Men keep floating on the surface of the ‘Deep Sea of Consciousness. Many horrifying tales are popular relating to the depth of and diving into the Sea of Consciousness. That is why Mankind keeps on trying to ascertain it with sincerity that not only our kith and kin but other persons around us as well do not get drowned in the horrors of this Sea of Consciousness. It happens in decades that some lunatic dares to dive into this Sea of Consciousness. There was a time when Shahood Bhai enjoyed himself of his life in the Unreal Self in a comparatively better manner but the Realism in his nature persuaded him to revolt and he dived into the Sea of Consciousness to know the truth regarding the popular tales of horrors about it and swam deeper into it. He couldn’t see anything for a while but as the clouds of unfamiliarity dispersed, his vision also came to normal.
What! A magnificent universe with its spell casting dazzles is at display here. Here, Professor Shahood is faced with Infinity and enormous intensities. These stretches, no doubt, are immense but owing to the abundance of Dimensions, the room for choice and option is also limitless. There is a freedom of moving in any direction here while doing teleportation: neither any door-keeper, nor any door, nor any hindrance. Tablets bearing the rules of Physics and Chemistry in Arithmetical language are hanging everywhere. There is an absolute freedom of doing anything while complying with these rules.
He gets acquainted with distinct, idiosyncratic and autonomous statuses of the Subatomic Particles. A rule shows its marvels where it rules: wondrous and vast kingdoms of Gravity, Magnetic Field, Waves and Matter. The wheel of time is jammed in one kingdom and in another the weight of one spoon of matters equals the weight of a mountain. How strange are these visages of Time and Space! It appears that their conquest is not that hard.
Suddenly a breaking sound comes from within him. “Am I having a cardiac arrest? Am I about to die?” He keeps drowning in deep oblivion of his Self. He reflects that it has been a long while since his oblivion to the Self, yet, he still is thinking. ‘Thinking assures Being. It means I’m yet alive. But why do I feel like I’m just born? Was I slumbering in some bottomless well before this? Is my life spent on the surface of Conscience merely an illusion? But how to determine whether I’m still in slumber or not?”
But there is someone who assures him of his being. He addresses this Hidden Feel: “Who are you and where am I? Have I died?” He gets answered: “I am the Consciousness and you are such a Being of Existence that has sunken in the unfathomable deep of Nothingness.”
He starts exploring the hidden corners of his Self and thinks that ‘I’m acquainted with my consciousness and set out with it but now it appears utterly unfamiliar to me.’ His absorption now touched the prodigal banks of intensity. “The figuration of my knowledge has entirely changed by the way this universe has revealed upon me whereas the clear purpose of throwing me into Nothingness was to compel me to contemplating. So, then, do I need some other sort of knowledge? Have I been sent down the unfathomable deep of Nothingness for some essential preparation? Is the Universe demanding something of me? For overcoming what deficiency am I here?”
He keeps running in these valleys of absorption out of breath and when he is about to be defeated after getting exhausted, he suddenly feels his Self, conceiving the True Self/existence. He realized that the sound that he took as the breaking of his heart was of shattering of the shell of his Unreal Self. Now he understood the purpose of throwing him into Nothingness: he was being introduced/familiarized with the Micro-Universe, the Self, after knowing the Macro-Universe. He was being forced to ponder and to contemplate so that his attitude and manner towards the unreal existence of beings and the Universe remained scholarly.
He had also grown acquainted with the greatest secret of the Universe---the Love for Freedom. Freedom is the Haram and Esteem of this Universe because the beauty of the Universe owes to Freedom.
He feels that the Real Self is such priceless gift of the Universe that is bestowed to him by the virtue of valuing Freedom.
Mr. Shahood dived into the Sea of Consciousness by revolting against Dogmatism. By this valuing of Freedom he was blessed with the True Self.
From the light rays emitting from the Real Self, he conveniently came out through the other end of the cave of Nothingness.
Now the deeper he goes into the Sea of Consciousness the nearer he moves to the Absolute Truth and the Secrets and Mysteries start showering on him. He is surprised at how illusive were his constructed concepts. The hollowness of the standards of Mortality and Immortality, Happiness and Sorrow, Promotion and Demotion, Pleasure and Pain, Virtue and Vice construed by the Unreal Self reveal unto him. He proceeds. The vastness of each destination is grand. Encompassing these expanses is impossible. The thought of humankind occurs to his heart. He halts and reflects for a while. “Should I return and inform Mankind about the Real Self?”
But what if he got deprived of this new Self on the way back?
He trembles under the apprehensions of losing this Real Self again. He is panicked by his idea. But now the Real Self has completely turned him into love and affection and he has turned into an epitome of blessing of every living being, how he can leave humankind in such state of horrible deprivation. He comes back so that he may inform mankind of this Real Self.
What! The stink of blood, urine and filth is spread everywhere on the surface of the sea. There are rags and cloths everywhere. Animal are trying to grasp at the string of the useless life by killing one another. Whereas, man is busy in the exercise of getting life by killing animals and getting progress by killing other men. The odd and hilarious standards of progress, comfort, prestige and fame are on guard everywhere.
Man is calling some stinking moments on the wrinkled sheets as love and ej*******on of dirty drops as real pleasure. The cement made by crushing meaningless stones, and the prestige gotten from the layering of this cement is on the hit of a meagre wave of the Sea.
Monks, priests and the like are exhorting people on loud speakers to abstain form diving into the sea of conscience. They are bearing attires of odd fashions for giving their exhortations the apparels of holiness. Some one to go right on surface but as it is much crowded, they form a flag for proceeding and they are making their way with the help of guns and tanks under it gathering in the form of a group. The second group is at war on left. There are as many flags as the groups and each group has a distinct name. There are cries of wailing and weeping, of pains, of hunger, of blood and stink everywhere. Shahood Bhai understands that the Real Self is showing him the real face of his former life. On every flag bearing and combating group there is the control of only a few persons. Each group has distinct hired preachers who strive to make it sure that no one jumps into the Sea of conscience.
The cries of weeping and wailing are rising more from that side. It is known that numerous persons from one group have been wounded as a consequence of drastic bombing. Shahood Bhai appeals for help; people say ‘let them die; they will instigate more unrest if they are alive’.
A noise rises from another side. An earth quake has hit that group. The lives of millions of people are at risk. Help is urgently required. But people say ‘these are black infidels, let them die; this filth and stink is due to them’.
Every group considers this hatred the guarantee of its survival. The specials teachers are appointed for teaching hatred are conducting practical exercises of hating. Some groups hate like worshipping by relating it with God. The other groups are hurrying in applying makeup of patriotism, honor, nationalism and chauvinism on the grave face of hatred.
How odd are the human logics and standards for hatred that man hates man for winning Approval of God.
Professor Shahood cries:
“O people! Pay heed to me! Your standards of pleasure and pain, respect and disrespect, fame and rejection and success and failure are deeply flawed.
“All the discrepancies of nationalism and regionalism, cast and creed, and faith and civilization are baseless. Think! If some species of the universe that is only two hundred thousand years older than you, enslaves you by invading here, how vulgar and baseless will this contemporary individual distribution seem to you.
“A child of mankind is dying of hunger in every ten seconds. Millions of the poor are dying of curable diseases. But you are spending $ 2000 Billions annually on your defense budget; from whom do you need to defend yourself? Surely, your definition of humanity and classification subsequent to it are intensely flawed.
“You commit these atrocities in the name of your survival because you long to live a long and prosperous life. Come with me!
“Let’s go in the Deep of the sea of Consciousness; I have witnessed something novel there. This planet (earth) which you are so proud of in fact is an invisible, little pygmy. Its chemistry is too wretched to give you a more refreshing life. We can shift to the worlds greater than this where gravity and speed of time will be different, where rare and diverse element will be abundant, and where the physical circumstances will be more suitable for life. There you can rejoice from longevity and best of health. You have to do nothing different or new for turning these probabilities into reality but have only to dedicate your $2000 Billion defense budget by negotiating with each other just for ten years.
“We can build spaceship. This world, anyhow, had to end after a certain period but you have already decreased its natural age considerably by your carelessness. Mankind has to migrate towards other planets for its survival.
“You talk of timelessness and spacelessness though you are unable to explain time and space. Past, present and future are not more than an illusion. Present, Past and Future are in fact already present. If an alien is looking at me from the millions of years distance somewhere in this universe, he is mathematically watching my future but if he is moving to the opposite dimension from me, my past becomes visible to him.
“The yesterday has not annihilated and the weight for tomorrow is meaningless as well. Every thing is relative. Try changing your relativity. Suitable mathematics is at hand, only a new type of formula and a new kind of energy is required. You can test the truths in my claim by increasing your speed.
“This certainly looks much cumbersome and prolonged to you, then, let’s go--- we can somehow establish colonies of life in these closer planets where you can gather heaps of baseless stones of gold and gems as much as you wish by digging well.
“And this condition of yours is so pathetic as you have given hatred the status of worship. You limit love in peculiar circles and as a result bear pains. Can the worshippers of hatred be ever blessed with the wealth of satisfaction of heart? Why would the ones bringing in the fire of hatred need any concept of Inferno”.
Shahood Bhai wants to say much more but a monk hears him and rings the warning bell immediately. Now all the monks make a circle around him and make so much noise that mankind is not able to listen to him. In the meanwhile, the gun bearing fighters from under the flags approach and beat him. He comes back into the sea of Consciousness and explores if any other straying soul is traveling there like him. According to logic, there surely is someone, but according to mathematics the distance between them can be enormous.
He can enjoy himself of the Real Self by going further in the lap of Consciousness but the love for abhorring humanity on the surface compels him to return. He knows that in the embodiment of the Real Self he won’t be able to live alive among the contemporary humanity. For this purpose, he requests the universe to give him his Unreal Self back.
In the love of mankind he leaves his Real Self there and comes back and starts targeting those very issues which may relief humans a bit though temporarily while staying on the surface.
Now he talks on corruption, lawlessness, tolerance, endurance, and justice. His Real Self has sunken somewhere in the Sea. He is restless and solitary; but this is a cosmic solitude. That is why his pain is fatal. Now the pain of living in the artificial shell of the Unreal Being is torturous for him.
He can often be heard saying that ‘there is much peace in not knowing, knowing drowned me; how would it be if I did not know’. There was neither any witness nor condoler of the death of his Real Self.
The panic of the death of his real-self is massive because its feel is immortal. Whereas, Conscience does not meddle with the life and death of the Unreal Self, so, the feel of mortality and immortality is, too, short lived and temporarily.
