On 𝟭𝟮 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟵𝟰𝟳, just days before independence, 𝗠𝘂𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗶 𝗝𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗵 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗶𝗱-𝗲-𝗔𝘇𝗮𝗺, while the foundations of Pakistan’s national identity continued to take form, including the establishment of a committee for the country’s flag and national symbols.

And just days before independence, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝗴 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝟭𝟭 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟵𝟰𝟳 a flag carrying a deeper meaning:
