The School of Politics and International Relations (SPIR), Quaid-i-Azam University, extends its sincere gratitude to the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China for generously supporting students through the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship programme. The initiative has emerged as an important source of academic encouragement and financial assistance for deserving students at the university.

The first phase of the scholarship programme began in 2024, during which a total of 43 students were awarded scholarships across four phases. In the first phase, 7 students received the scholarship, followed by 13 students in the second phase, 21 students in the third phase, and 2 students in the fourth phase. In 2025, a total of 24 students benefited from the programme, including 9 students in the first phase and 15 students in the second phase.

In 2026, the first phase of the scholarship has already awarded 47 students, reflecting a significant expansion of the initiative and its outreach across the university. The university administration remains optimistic that the number of beneficiaries will further increase in the upcoming second phase of 2026.
