The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
"When one of you breaks his fast, let him break it with dates, for they are blessed. If he cannot find dates, then with water, for it is pure."
(Sunan Abu Dawood 2355, Tirmidhi 695)

This hadith highlights the virtue of eating dates and drinking water at Iftar, following the Sunnah of the Prophet (ﷺ). May Allah accept our fasts and bless us with His mercy.

فَاصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ
"So be patient over what they say."
"یہ جو لوگ باتیں کرتے ہیں تم ان پر صبر کرو۔"

رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَا طَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا
Our Lord! Do not place upon us a burden we cannot bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy upon us."
Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 286

اے ہمارے رب! اور ہم پر وہ بوجھ نہ ڈال جس کی ہمیں طاقت نہیں اور ہمیں معاف فرما دے اور ہمیں بخش دے اور ہم پر رحم فرما۔

يَا رَبِّ اجْعَلْ لَنَا فِي كُلِّ خُطْوَةٍ تَوْفِيقًا وَتَيْسِيرًا
O my Lord! Grant us success and ease in every step we take.
اے میرے رب! ہمارے لیے ہر قدم پر کامیابی اور آسانیاں عطا فرما۔

رَبِّ ٱنزِعْ مِن قَلْبِي حُبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ لَا تُحِبُّهُ
O my Lord! Remove from my heart the love of everything that You do not approve of.
> "اے میرے رب! میرے دل سے ہر اس چیز کی محبت نکال دے جسے تو پسند نہیں کرتا۔"

O my Lord! Grant me wisdom and place me among the righteous.

"اے میرے رب! مجھے حکمت عطا فرما اور مجھے نیک لوگوں کے ساتھ ملا دے۔"
[Surah Ash-Shu'ara, Ayah 83 - القرآن 26:83]

لا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ "
"There is no god but Allah, the Great and Gentle; there is no god but Allah, the Lord of the Great Throne; there is no god but Allah, the Lord of the heavens, the Lord of the earth, and the Lord of the Noble Throne."

ترجمہ : اس اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں ہے جو بڑا عظیم اور بردبار ہے، اس اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں ہے جو عرش عظیم کا مالک ہے، اس اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں جو زمین و آسمان اور عرش کریم کا رب ہے۔

رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَامِنْ لَدُنْكَ رَحْمَةً ۚ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ
"Our Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us, and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower."
اے ہمارے رب ! ہمیں ہدایت دینے کے بعد ہمارے دل ٹیڑھے نہ کر دے اور ہمیں اپنے پاس سے رحمت عطا فرما، یقینا تو بہت ہی زیادہ دینے والا ہے۔
