ایک عبادت گزار جس نے سب کچھ کھو دیا... 😭😭😭

ایک عبادت گزار تھے جن کا نام ابو بن ہاشم تھا۔
وہ تہجد کے بڑے پابند تھے، سالوں گزر گئے مگر انہوں نے کبھی تہجد کی نماز نہیں چھوڑی۔

ایک رات، جب وہ تہجد کے لیے وضو کرنے لگے،
تو اچانک انہوں نے دیکھا کہ کنویں کے کنارے ایک شخصیت بیٹھی ہوئی ہے۔
ابو بن ہاشم نے پوچھا:

“اے اللہ کے بندے! تم کون ہو؟؟؟”

وہ شخصیت مسکرا کر بولی:
“میں ایک فرشتہ ہوں، جسے اللہ تعالیٰ نے بھیجا ہے۔”

یہ سن کر ابو بن ہاشم حیران بھی ہوئے اور دل میں خوشی بھی محسوس کی
کہ اللہ کا ایک مقرب فرشتہ ان کے گھر آیا ہے۔

انہوں نے پوچھا:
“اے فرشتے! تم یہاں کیا کر رہے ہو؟”

فرشتہ بولا:
“مجھے اللہ نے اس لیے بھیجا ہے کہ میں ایسے بندے تلاش کروں
جو اللہ تعالیٰ سے سچی محبت کرتے ہیں۔”

ابو بن ہاشم نے دیکھا کہ فرشتہ کے ہاتھ میں ایک موٹی کتاب ہے،
انہوں نے پوچھا:
“اے فرشتے! یہ کس چیز کی کتاب ہے؟”

فرشتہ نے جواب دیا:
“یہ ان بندوں کے ناموں کا مجموعہ ہے جو اللہ تعالیٰ سے محبت کرتے ہیں۔”

یہ سن کر ابو بن ہاشم کے دل میں امید جاگی
کہ شاید ان کا نام بھی اس فہرست میں ہو۔
انہوں نے پوچھا:
“اے فرشتے! کیا میرا نام بھی اس میں موجود ہے؟”

ابو بن ہاشم کے دل میں یقین تھا کہ ان کا نام ضرور ہوگا،
کیونکہ وہ تو کبھی تہجد نہیں چھوڑتے تھے،
ہر رات آخری پہر میں جاگ کر نماز پڑھتے اور اللہ سے مناجات کرتے۔

فرشتے نے کہا:
“ٹھیک ہے، میں دیکھتا ہوں۔”

پھر فرشتے نے وہ بڑی سی کتاب کھولی،
مگر جتنا بھی تلاش کیا، ابو بن ہاشم کا نام نہ ملا۔

ابو بن ہاشم نے بے یقینی سے کہا:
“دوبارہ دیکھو، شاید تم سے رہ گیا ہو۔”

فرشتہ بولا:
“میں نے دوبارہ دیکھا، لیکن تمہارا نام اس کتاب میں نہیں ہے!”

یہ سن کر ابو بن ہاشم لرز گئے،
زمین پر گر پڑے اور سجدے میں روتے چلے گئے۔

وہ کہنے لگے:
“ہائے افسوس! میں تو ہر رات تہجد کے لیے اٹھتا ہوں،
اللہ کے سامنے کھڑا رہتا ہوں، عبادت کرتا ہوں —
پھر بھی میرا نام اللہ کے محبوب بندوں میں نہیں؟؟؟”

فرشتہ بولا:
“اے ابو بن ہاشم!
اللہ نے مجھے تمہارا نام لکھنے سے روک دیا ہے۔”

ابو بن ہاشم نے روتے ہوئے پوچھا:
“ایسا کیوں؟ آخر میرا قصور کیا ہے؟”

فرشتہ بولا:
“تم عبادت تو کرتے ہو،
لیکن اپنی عبادت پر فخر بھی کرتے ہو۔
تم لوگوں کو دکھاتے ہو کہ تم کتنے پرہیزگار ہو۔
تم عبادت میں مگن رہتے ہو مگر اپنے آس پاس کے لوگوں کو بھول جاتے ہو۔
تمہارے دائیں بائیں کوئی بیمار یا بھوکا ہوتا ہے،
تو تم نہ اس کی خبر لیتے ہو نہ اس کی مدد کرتے ہو۔

بتاؤ،
جو بندہ اللہ کی مخلوق سے محبت نہیں کرتا،
وہ اللہ سے سچی محبت کیسے کر سکتا ہے؟”

یہ سن کر ابو بن ہاشم پر حقیقت آشکار ہو گئی۔
ان پر بجلی سی گر گئی۔
انہیں احساس ہوا کہ بندگی صرف اللہ کے ساتھ تعلق (حبل من اللہ) کا نام نہیں،
بلکہ انسانوں کے ساتھ حسنِ سلوک (حبل من الناس) اور مخلوق کے ساتھ محبت بھی ایمان کا حصہ ہے۔

🌿 اللہ ہمیں سمجھنے اور عمل کرنے کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔ آمین۔

رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:
"جو شخص ایک علم کی بات دوسروں تک پہنچا دے،
اور کوئی اس پر عمل کرے،
تو وہ شخص مرنے کے بعد بھی اس کا اجر پاتا رہے گا۔"

شیخ عبدالقادر جیلانی رحمہ اللہ — وہ ولیِ کامل جس نے دلوں کو زندہ کیا
اسلامی تاریخ کے ان روشن ستاروں میں سے جنہوں نے ایمان، علم اور روحانیت کو ایک ساتھ زندہ کیا، سب سے نمایاں نام ہے سیدنا شیخ عبدالقادر جیلانی رحمہ اللہ — غوث الاعظم، سلطان الاولیاء، اور محی الدین، یعنی وہ بزرگ جنہوں نے دلوں کو ایمان سے زندہ کیا۔

آپ کا مولد 470 ہجری (1077 عیسوی) میں جیلان (موجودہ ایران) کے علاقے میں ہوا۔

آپ کا نسب والد کی طرف سے امام حسن رضی اللہ عنہ اور والدہ کی طرف سے امام حسین رضی اللہ عنہ سے جا ملتا ہے، اس طرح آپ حسنی و حسینی دونوں تھے۔

بچپن ہی سے آپ میں اللہ کی خاص عنایت کے آثار ظاہر تھے۔ روایت ہے کہ جب آپ شیرخوار تھے تو رمضان کے مہینے میں دن کے وقت دودھ پینا چھوڑ دیتے تھے۔ یہ اس بات کی علامت تھی کہ آپ کی روح کو عبادت اور بندگی کے لیے چُن لیا گیا ہے۔

جب آپ کی عمر تقریباً اٹھارہ برس ہوئی تو آپ کی والدہ محترمہ ام الخیر فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے آپ کو اللہ کے سپرد کیا اور علم دین حاصل کرنے کے لیے بغداد روانہ کیا۔

اسی سفر میں وہ مشہور واقعہ پیش آیا جب ڈاکوؤں نے قافلہ لوٹا اور آپ نے سچ بول کر ان کے دل بدل دیے۔

مگر یہ تو صرف آغاز تھا۔

طلبِ علم اور ابتدائی کرامات

بغداد پہنچ کر آپ نے اس زمانے کے جلیل القدر علما سے علم حاصل کیا، جن میں شیخ ابو سعید المخَرَّمی، ابو زکریا التبریزی، اور ابو الخطاب الکلوذانی شامل ہیں۔

آپ نے حدیث، فقہ، تفسیر، اور اصولِ دین میں کمال حاصل کیا اور فقہِ حنبلی و شافعی دونوں میں اجازہ حاصل کیا۔

ایک روایت میں آتا ہے کہ ایک دن آپ کسی درس سے واپس جا رہے تھے کہ دیکھا ایک شخص دریائے دجلہ کے اوپر نماز پڑھ رہا ہے۔ آپ کے دل میں خیال آیا، “کیا بلند مقام ہے اس کا!”

اسی لمحے ایک ندا آئی:

“اے عبدالقادر! یہ درجہ اس بندے کو ذکرِ الٰہی سے ملا ہے، لیکن تمہارا درجہ اس سے بلند ہوگا کیونکہ ہم نے تمہیں اپنی یاد دلانے کے لیے چُنا ہے۔”

کئی برس بعد وہی شخص آپ کے پاس آیا اور کہا:
“اے عبدالقادر! تم وہی ہو جن کے متعلق اس آواز نے خبر دی تھی۔ آج تم اس مقام پر فائز ہو گئے ہو۔”

خلوت و مجاہدہ کے ایام

علم مکمل کرنے کے بعد آپ نے پچیس سال بغداد کے گرد و نواح کے صحراؤں میں تنہائی اختیار کی۔
کبھی کئی کئی دن بغیر کھائے پیئے گزارتے، راتوں کو عبادت میں کھڑے رہتے۔ جب پوچھا گیا کہ یہ سختی کیوں؟ تو فرمایا:

“میں نے مخلوق سے کچھ نہیں چاہا، اس لیے اپنے دل کو خالق کے سوا ہر چیز سے خالی کر لیا۔”

انہی دنوں میں آپ کو ایک آزمائش پیش آئی۔ روایت ہے کہ ایک رات آسمان میں نور ظاہر ہوا اور ایک آواز سنائی دی:
“اے عبدالقادر! میں تیرا رب ہوں، اور میں نے تیرے لیے وہ چیزیں حلال کر دی ہیں جو دوسروں پر حرام ہیں۔”

آپ فوراً بولے:
“اعوذ باللہ! میرا رب اپنی کتاب کے خلاف حکم نہیں دیتا۔ تو شیطان ہے۔”
نور غائب ہو گیا اور آواز آئی:
“اے عبدالقادر! تیرے علم اور ثابت قدمی نے تجھے بچا لیا۔ میں تجھ سے پہلے ستر علما کو اس فریب میں ڈال چکا ہوں۔”

یہ واقعہ آپ کی بصیرت، استقامت اور شریعت پر پختگی کی عظیم علامت ہے۔

دعوت و تدریس کا آغاز

جب آپ بغداد واپس آئے تو شہر علمی شان تو رکھتا تھا مگر اخلاقی زوال میں مبتلا تھا۔

علماء نے اصرار کیا کہ آپ تدریس کا آغاز کریں۔
آپ کا پہلا درس اتنا مقبول ہوا کہ ہزاروں لوگ جمع ہوئے، حتیٰ کہ مساجد میں جگہ نہ رہی اور کھلے میدان میں درس دینا پڑا۔
مورخ ابن الجوزی لکھتے ہیں کہ آپ کے خطبات میں ستر ہزار افراد شریک ہوتے۔
آپ کے وعظ میں ایسی تاثیر تھی کہ لوگ روتے، تائب ہوتے، اور دلوں پر اللہ کی یاد چھا جاتی۔
کہا جاتا ہے کہ جب آپ دعا کے لیے ہاتھ اٹھاتے تو فضا میں پرندے تک ٹھہر جاتے، گویا وہ بھی اس ذکر میں شریک ہوں۔
آپ نے مدرسہ قادریہ قائم کیا، جو نہ صرف علمِ دین کا مرکز بنا بلکہ روحانی تربیت کا بھی محور۔ آپ کے تلامذہ نے آپ کی تعلیمات کو عراق سے ہند، افریقہ، اور مشرق بعید تک پھیلایا۔

رحمت و کرامات

آپ کے ہاتھ پر بے شمار کرامات ظاہر ہوئیں۔
ایک مرتبہ بغداد میں قحط پڑا تو آپ نے بارش کے لیے دعا کی۔ ابھی دعا مکمل نہ ہوئی تھی کہ آسمان پر بادل چھا گئے اور موسلادھار بارش شروع ہوگئی۔

ایک عورت بیمار بچے کو لے کر آئی، آپ نے روتے ہوئے ہاتھ اٹھائے اور کہا:
“اے اللہ! تو دلوں اور جسموں کو زندگی عطا کرنے والا ہے۔”
بچہ فوراً صحت یاب ہو گیا۔
مگر آپ ہمیشہ فرمایا کرتے:
“اگر تم کسی شخص کو ہوا میں اڑتے یا پانی پر چلتے دیکھو تو دھوکہ نہ کھاؤ۔ اسے قرآن و سنت کے ترازو پر پرکھو۔ اگر وہ ان کے مطابق ہے تو وہ اللہ کا دوست ہے، ورنہ گمراہ۔”

وصال اور میراث

آپ کا وصال 561 ہجری (1166 عیسوی) میں بغداد میں ہوا، عمر مبارک تقریباً اکانوے سال تھی۔
آپ کا مزار مبارک آج بھی بغداد میں زائرین کے لیے نور و برکت کا مرکز ہے۔
آپ کی تصنیفات، جیسے فتوح الغیب اور الفتح الربانی، آج بھی طالبینِ حق کے دلوں میں ایمان اور معرفت کی آگ روشن کرتی ہیں۔
آپ شریعت اور حقیقت کے حسین امتزاج کا مظہر تھے — ظاہری علم اور باطنی عرفان کا کامل توازن۔

آپ کا مشہور قول ہے:
“قدمی ھٰذہ علی رقبة کل ولیّ اللہ”
“میرا قدم تمام اولیاءِ اللہ کی گردنوں پر ہے۔”
یہ اعلان تکبر کا نہیں بلکہ اس روحانی مقام کی نشاندہی تھی جو اللہ نے آپ کو عطا فرمایا تھا۔

اللہ تعالیٰ آپ کے فیض کو قیامت تک جاری رکھے،
ہمیں آپ کے اخلاص، علم اور تقویٰ کا وارث بنائے،
اور ہمیں بھی اُن راستوں پر چلا دے جو آپ نے اللہ کی رضا کے لیے طے کیے۔
“جو اللہ کو پہچان لیتا ہے، وہ خاموش رہتا ہے، اور جب بولتا ہے تو صرف اللہ کے لیے بولتا ہے۔” — شیخ عبدالقادر جیلانی رحمہ اللہ

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever is afflicted by worry, grief, or depression, and says in the morning and evening

Allahumma inni a’uuzubika minal hammi wal hazan. Wa a’udzubika minal ajzi wal kasali, wa a’udzubika minal jubni wal bukhli, wa a’udzubika min ghalabatid daini wa qahrir rijaal.

Allah will remove his anxiety and replace his grief with relief. 🤲🏼

Hadith 7- Being Regular in Good Deeds

سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا، وَاعْلَمُوا أَنْ لَنْ يُدْخِلَ أَحَدَكُمْ عَمَلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ، وَأَنَّ أَحَبَّ الأَعْمَالِ أَدْوَمُهَا إِلَى اللهِ وَإِنْ قَلَّ

Make an effort, do your best, and know that none of you will enter paradise due to his deeds. The most beloved deed to Allah is the one that is done regularly even if it is small.

(Bukhari and Muslim)

Explanation:

Islam encourages maintaining gentleness in actions, limiting oneself to what the person can endure, and persisting in it.

In this hadith, the Prophet ﷺ says, “Make an effort,” meaning seek what is right and do not overburden yourselves, so that you do not exhaust yourselves in worship, leading to weariness and neglecting good deeds. “Do your best,” meaning if you cannot do it completely, then do what is as close to it as possible for you.
“Know that none of you will enter Paradise due to his deeds.” This implies that the acts of obedience we perform are not a compensation or equivalent for Paradise; rather, we enter paradise by the mercy and grace of Allah. This does not contradict the Qura’nic verse, “Enter Paradise for what you used to do” [Quran 16:32]. Ibn Taymiyyah explained that the act itself does not equate to the reward, although it serves as a reason for it. Hence, whoever thinks that he has fulfilled what is due on him by just performing good deeds and does not need the forgiveness and pardon of his Lord to enter paradise is misguided. In another version, it is reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, “No one will enter Paradise by his deeds.” They asked, “Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?” He replied, “Not even me, unless Allah envelops me in His mercy and favor.”

The Prophet ﷺ then said, “The most beloved deed to Allah is the one that is done regularly even if it is small.” Meaning, the deeds that endure throughout the person’s life, even if it is small in nature, because it persists, unlike the occasional difficult actions. Therefore, we should look for opportunities to start new good deeds that we are confident to be able to repeat on a regular basis, such as, give a few dollars a month in charity, reading one page of the Qur’an daily, performing two units of extra prayer a day, etc. It is reported about our mother Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, that whenever she did a good deed, she used to regularly adhere to it.

■ The Special Practice of Surah Al-Fatiha

If you face a severe difficulty, or are in need of something that cannot be resolved by any means, or you seek spiritual or worldly victories, or you desire to win the hearts of people (Tas-khīr-e Khalā'iq), then recite Surah Al-Fatiha in the manner described below.

This is a 21-day practice (Amal).

Insha'Allah, your need or problem will be resolved within these days.

This is a tested and highly effective practice (Mujarrab ul-Mujarrab), so perform it and benefit from it.

Method:

Purify yourself (Wudu) and perform the Isha prayer.

Start this practice on a Friday.

After finishing the obligatory Isha prayer (Fardh), recite any Durood / Salawat 14 times.

Then, perform a two-unit (Raka'at) prayer for the fulfillment of need (Salat al-Hajat).

Recite any Durood Shareef 14 times again.

Then, recite Surah Al-Fatiha the prescribed number of times (listed below), including 'Bismillah irehmaan nirahim' every single time.

Finally, recite any Durood / Salawat 14 times and then conclude.

Instructions:

It is essential that the time, place, and clothing remain the same throughout the practice.

The second condition is: if you make a mistake during the recitation (Wazifa) or doubt the number of repetitions, you must stop the current practice and start over again from the following Friday. Lesson is Don't do in lazy and careless!!!!

Do not speak to anyone during the practice, nor use gestures. Perform the practice in complete solitude. No one should in room. Full focus!!!

Warning (Tanbīh): Pay special attention to the correct pronunciation (Makhārij) of the Qur'anic words in all such practices. Check with expert Qaari who knows how do correct pronunciation. Don't waste your time in wrong pronunciation bevause many people perform Wazifa or any practice but they do alot of mistakes in pronunciation, so how can Wazifa work 100% when pronunciation is not correct.

Note for Women: Women should complete the missed days after their cycle ends.

Hadith 6- Charity and Humility

مَا نَقَصَتْ صَدَقَةٌ مِنْ مَالٍ وَمَا زَادَ اللهُ عَبْدًا بِعَفْوٍ إِلاَّ عِزًّا وَمَا تَوَاضَعَ أَحَدٌ لِلَّهِ إِلاَّ رَفَعَهُ اللهُ

Charity does not decrease wealth, Allah increases the honor of the slave who pardons [others], and whoever humbles himself for Allah’s sake, He will raise him [in status].

(Muslim)

Explanation:

Charity with one’s wealth purifies it and increases blessings in it. It is an act of obedience to Allah and a means of enriching the needy. Through charity, the giver cuts off the causes of evil in people’s hearts.

In this hadith, the Prophet ﷺ clarifies that charity does not diminish one’s wealth; rather, it multiplies it through the blessings it brings. These blessings manifest in various forms within oneself, one’s family, and one’s wealth. Even if the form of wealth physically appears to decrease, the reward for it is increased in multitudes.

Allah never increases a servant who forgives another, while capable of exacting retribution, except in honor, authority, and greatness in the hearts of others. It can also refer to an increase in reward in the Hereafter in the presence of Allah.

Whenever someone humbles themselves before Allah by lowering themselves from a position they deserve, solely for the sake of seeking closeness to Allah without any other motive, Allah elevates them either in this world, the Hereafter, or both. Humility is defeat and subservience and its opposite is arrogance and pride.

This hadith also highlights the virtue of giving charity, the excellence of forgiveness and pardoning, and how those known for forgiveness and pardon are honored and esteemed in the hearts of people.

Furthermore, it emphasizes the virtue of humility before Allah, recognizing one’s insignificance, refraining from self-admiration, and negating pride.

Hadith 5- Hell and Paradise

حُجِبَتِ النَّارُ بِالشَّهَوَاتِ، وَحُجِبَتِ الْجَنَّةُ بِالْمَكَارِهِ

The fire is surrounded by [unlawful] desires and paradise by difficulties.

(Bukhari and Muslim)

Explanation:

This hadith commands us to abstain from unlawful desires because they lead us to hellfire and to be patient over difficulties because it leads us to paradise. In order to obtain the great rewards with Allah, it is not sufficient to just wish for them in the mind, rather, the person must actively strive for them by overcoming one’s unlawful desires and doing whatever is loved and pleasing to Allah. In this hadith, the Prophet ﷺ informed us that the hellfire is hidden behind unlawful desires, which teaches us that actively pursuing such desires will make us end up at that cursed destination. We should not be blinded or mesmerized just because we cannot ‘see’ the hellfire but it is what is behind the curtain, thus, we should take precautions to safeguard ourselves and our families from following unlawful desires.

The Prophet ﷺ also informed us in this hadith that paradise is hidden behind difficulties. The ‘difficulty’ here is in reference to whatever we have been commanded to do by Allah in this world and other noble acts, such as, striving to do acts of worship, patience over fulfilling His commands, abstaining from the prohibited, controlling anger, forgiving others, being forbearing, giving charity, being patient over unlawful desires, etc. The reason such things are called ‘difficult’ is because they are hard on the doer and not easy especially in a society where most people frequently violate Allah’s commands
