Govt. of Pakistan Confers Tamgha-e-Imtiaz upon IIUI’s Prof. Dr. Rahmat Ellahi
The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has congratulated Prof. Dr. Rahmat Ellahi, Director QAD, on being conferred the prestigious Tamgha-e-Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan in recognition of his remarkable contributions to Mathematics and research.

HEC Opens Registration for HAT Test for MS/MPhil Admissions 2026
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has opened registration for the HAT Test for MS/MPhil programmes. Interested candidates may register through the ETC portal at etc.hec.gov.pk until June 7, 2026.
Please note that registration for the HAT Subject Test for PhD programmes will open separately in June 2026.

The third official meeting of the Mathematics and Statistics Society is going to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, 19th May. Important decisions regarding the society will be made during the meeting. All students belonging to the Mathematics and Statistics Department are welcome to participate.

اسلامین میتھمیٹکس اینڈ اسٹیٹیکس سوسائٹی کی پہلی باضابطہ میٹنگ کامیابی سے منعقد ہوئی۔

الحمدللہ! ڈیپارٹمنٹ آف میتھمیٹکس اینڈ اسٹیٹسٹکس، انٹرنیشنل اسلامک یونیورسٹی اسلام آبادکے تحت اسلامین میتھمیٹکس سوسائٹی کی پہلی باضابطہ میٹنگ کامیابی سے منعقد ہوئی، جس میں میتھ میٹکٹس سوسائٹی کے اغراض و مقاصد، مستقبل کے منصوبہ، علمی و تحقیقی سرگرمیوں، سیمینارز، ورکشاپس اور طلبہ کی پیشہ ورانہ ترقی کے حوالے سے تفصیلی گفتگو کی گئی۔

اجلاس کے دوران اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا گیا کہ سوسائٹی ریاضی اور اسٹیٹس کے میدان میں تحقیق، علمی مباحث اور باہمی تعاون کے فروغ کے لیے ایک مؤثر پلیٹ فارم کے طور پر کام کرے گی۔

اسی موقع پر باہمی مشاورت سے سوسائٹی "اسفند جاوید مہر " ( پی ایچ ڈی اسکالر) کی سربراہی میں ایگزیکٹو باڈی بھی تشکیل دی گئی تاکہ تنظیمی امور کو منظم اور مؤثر انداز میں آگے بڑھایا جا سکے۔

تشکیل دی گئی ایگزیکٹو باڈی میں اسفند جاوید مہر(PhD Scholar) کو صدر ( President)، عاصم لطیف (PhD Scholar) کو نائب صدر، محمد شاہزیب (PhD Scholor)کو Mathematics Alumni Coordinator،محمد سرفراز( BS Mathematics )کو Finance Secretary جبکہ ارتضیٰ ( BS Mathematics )کو Media Secretary منتخب کیا گیا۔

ہمیں امید ہے کہ جن احباب کو یہ ذمہ داریاں سونپی گئی ہیں وہ انہیں ذمہ داری، اخلاص اور قائدانہ صلاحیتوں کے ساتھ نبھائیں گے، اور اس پلیٹ فارم کو شعبۂ ریاضی کے طلبہ و محققین کے لیے ایک مضبوط علمی و تحقیقی نیٹ ورک بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کریں
گے

یہ صرف آغاز ہے ، ان شاء اللہ یہ سفر علم، تحقیق اور ترقی کی نئی راہیں کھولے گا۔

جلد اک اور میٹنگ کال کی جائے گی جس میں تنظیمی باڈی میں توسیع کی جائے گی۔
