**OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT regarding admission process of private medical and dental colleges of punjab
*In accordance with the Admission Policy for the Session 2023-24, notified by the Government of Punjab on 27th September, 2023, the admissions into Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges in the province shall be carried out by the University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore. Aspiring students are informed that admissions into private sector medical and dental colleges shall be centralized, and the candidates shall have the facility to submit their applications through the UHS Online Portal where they will be able to list their preferred medical and dental colleges in order of preference.
The admissions process for private sector colleges shall follow a merit-based and preference-based approach, similar to how University admits students to government medical and dental colleges of the province. This step by the Government of Punjab will not only save the applicants and their parents the hassel of submitting separate applications to different colleges but also ensure merit and transparency in admissions.
The University of Health Sciences Lahore shall open admissions simultaneously for both public and private sector medical and dental colleges. These admissions will be seperately advertised by 15th October, 2023. Candidates are advised to prepare in advance all necessary documents that they will be required to upload on the online application portal once it goes live. Without these documents the applications will be considered incomplete, and as a result, may be rejected. These documents are as follows:
**DOMICILE CERTIFICATE**
For admission to private sector medical and dental colleges, candidates having domicile of any district of Pakistan can apply. However, as per Section 17(4) of Pakistan Medical & Dental Council Act 2022, preference shall be given in admissions to candidates having domicile of Punjab. It may, therefore, be noted that Domicile is a mandatory document for candidates. Any other document such as an identity card, B-form, passport, or birth certificate will not substitute for the Domicile. Similarly, a receipt of application submitted for issuance of domicile of the candidate or parent's domicile on behalf of the candidate shall not be acceptable. Overseas Pakistanis/foreign candidates do not require a domicile for applying to their reserved seats.

Admission process in NUMS medical colleges will start from tomorrow. In their advertisment they have mentioned to verify documents from IBCC. This is first time, so many students are worried about the process. Kindly follow the given steps so that you can easily complete your process.

1-IBCC attestation form
2-Sealed envelope from the board.
3-Paid fee challan for IBCC.
4-Copy of ID/smart card.
5-Original Matric and FSC certificates for attestation
