Quaid-i-Azam University Retains Pakistan's Top Position, Ranks 381st Globally in QS World University Rankings 2027;
Research Impact Among World's Top 60
Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad, has once again reaffirmed its status as Pakistan's leading higher education institution by securing the No. 1 position in Pakistan and 381st place globally in the QS World University Rankings
2027.
In a remarkable achievement, the University has also been ranked among the Top 60 universities worldwide for Citations per Faculty, earning an outstanding score of 97.2 out of 100. This distinction reflects the quality, relevance, and global influence of the University's research contributions.
Prof. Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal, Vice Chancellor, Quaid-i-Azam University, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the faculty members, students, staff, alumni and ranking committee of the University. Alhamdulillah!
Today, Mr. Ateeq Ur Rahman (Fisheries and Aquaculture Lab) departed for China to participate in the 2026 Training Program on Green Mariculture and Feed Technology, hosted and fully funded by Guangdong Ocean University.
This opportunity represents an important milestone in his academic and research journey. As a Research Scholar at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, he will be engaging with international experts and researchers, strengthening his knowledge in sustainable aquaculture and feed technology, and contributing to future research collaborations and representing Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad Pakistan.
