ابوہریرہ رضی الله عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب انسان مر جاتا ہے تو اس کے عمل کا سلسلہ بند ہو جاتا ہے سوائے تین چیزوں کے: ایک صدقہ جاریہ ہے، دوسرا ایسا علم ہے جس سے لوگ فائدہ اٹھائیں اور تیسرا نیک و صالح اولاد ہے جو اس کے لیے دعا کرے“۔
