Arab leaders renewed the call for a ceasefire in Gaza and urged the international community to fund their plan to rebuild the Strip after US President Donald Trump reiterated a proposal to take over the Palestinian territory.

“We call on the international community... to exert pressure to end the bloodshed and ensure that urgent humanitarian aid can enter without obstacles all areas in need in Gaza,” the leaders said in the summit’s final statement on Saturday.
