Are you confused about PRODUCT HUNTING? I will share some tips and techniques
PRODUCT HUNTING:
It is basically searching a product which fulfills the criteria for suitable market and will give you profit.
CRITERIA
· Price of the product should be around $15-$40
· Profit should be above 30%
· Choose non-breakable product( don’t go for products made up of glass or ceramic)
· Minimum variations ( not more than 4)
· Make sure the product you hunted belongs to non-gated category
· The product should have consistency in monthly sales (especially in top 5 listings)
· The product should not be brand dominant or amazon dominant
· Make sure the product you select is typical
· The product should be eligible for both air and sea ( that is weight, dimensions should be optimum
· Product should have high sales and high search volume

TECHNIQUES
METHOD 1 #
Go to Amazon and start typing anything, any letter in search bar and see what amazon wants to autocomplete it. This basically shows us what people search mostly
METHOD 2 #
Go to amazon.com/Best-seller/zgbs and look through the best seller and find an idea from there by going through the sub categories of the products
METHOD 3 #
Go to amazon and select the category and write minus(-) and random letters, which will then show you random different products
METHOD 4 #
Look at any product on amazon and go through their reviews. Click on the reviewer's name and see the products they have reviewed and get idea from there
METHOD 5 #
Go through deals websites and look at what people are trying to launch.You can check out jumpsend/ rebtekey or any Facebook deals page
METHOD 6 #
Whenever you find any worth shortlisting product, click on the seller’s name and look through their products from here you can find fresh ideas.

Understanding of HELIUM 10 Tools:
1. Helium10:
One of the most important and powerful tools is Helium10. H10 has different segments.
· Black Box:
It helps in product hunting. You can select your criteria such as price range, monthly revenue, no of reviews, rating, and other filters available and it will show you products matching your criteria. Yes, you can find a product from here.
· Magnet:
Magnet is used to extract similar Keywords. You put your Keyword in magnet and enter you will get all the related Keywords with their Search Volume and Giveaways needed to rank. Search Volume in H10 is daily not monthly.
· Cerebra:
One of the most used and important tools. It is also known as reverse ASIN lookup. It extracts all the Keywords against which Customer is ranked, getting sales or even impressions. Paste your competitor ASIN in Cerebra and press Get Keywords. You will get all Keywords against which competitor is ranked. It will also show no competing products against that KW and no of CPR8 DAYS Giveaway that shows no of units to be Giveaway in 8 days to rank on that Keyword.
· Trendsetter:
It is used for seeing trends. Just add ASIN and Keyword it will show you the sales rank graph along with the google trends graph. It is not used to check trends normally we use Google trends, VIRAL LAUNCH, or KEEPA.
· Frankenstein:
It is used for Keyword refining we can extract reports from Cerebro and Magnet into this and process our Keywords like removing single letters, removing duplicates, etc.
· Keyword Tracker:
This one is also an important tool. Connect your H10 to Amz seller central. Add your ASIN and enter keywords you want to track. It keeps a record of all Keywords shows their progress changing with time.
· Scribbles:
This is used solely for listing purposes. You can paste your all Keywords in Scribble and start making a listing. Creating titles, adding description. It keeps track of how many keywords have been listed, how many times a keyword is used, and which KWs are not used.
NOTE:
To alert you via email if the hijacker is stuck to your listing.
· Inventory Protector: To protect one Buyer to buy a large no of units can also be done via Seller Central.
· Misspelinator:
Extracts commonly searched misspellings related to your Keywords it can also add up in boosting sales. Added in search terms back-end listings optimization.
· X-ray:
X-ray was wok as like J's extension is free for use just sign up for free helium 10 account. Install the extension and you can have multiple Cerebro and magnet runs for the day free x-ray.

Filter search results:

Basic about Product Research Tools.
• Merchant word is used to extract search volume of a keyword in different countries and also used to extract different keywords. It also shows the seasonality (i.e. evergreen or typical)
• Jungle scout is used to check the sales data of top competitors (i.e. daily sales, Monthly sales, Rating, Average price, Average sales, Average monthly sales, Seller Types etc.
• Helium 10 is used for the black box(used for product research) ,Magnet(For keyword research Including giveaways) ,Cerebro (for reverse Asin) , Keyword Tracker(used for keyword tracking, you can enter multiple keywords and then check it daily. It shows the keyword ranking and position organically and sponsored).
Always set you’re location to us i.e. New-York. By default it will be set to Pakistan.
• Brand Dominancy means that in top 10 spots 3 spots are of the same brand. Never enter this market.
• Amazon Dominancy means that in top 10 spots 3 spots are of the Amazon. Never enter this market.
• ASIN is the unique code assigned to every product by Amazon. You can use the ASIN to search for you’re competitors in Helium 10. Also you also use ASIN to do Reverse ASIN. You can also use this to get Competitors.
• Viral Launch is also used to extract information about product. It is much like the Jungle Scout.

HOW TO INCREASE YOUR GROWTH BY 10X?
Let’s see how one can increase his/her growth!
I experienced that working in a team is the best way to increase your growth. I am a person who loves to work in a team. It turns out to be more productive for me. I can complete a task a lot faster working in a team than working solo.
Working in a team doesn’t only help me to achieve a task but also opens my mind to new things. You share ideas and techniques which help you improve yourself and you get to learn many little things that make your task simpler.
So how I came across some wonderful colleagues?
This is because of my friend Arqam Cheema who introduced me to his friends and within a week I felt that I have come to the right place. Before, I have worked with many individuals but couldn’t develop that connection which I have right now with my team members.
I was recently working with my friends on a PPC campaign. Our objective was to revive a dead listing with PPC and you wouldn’t believe we found out so many strategies in which we can achieve our objective. Our strategies really worked!
To start working in a team, first, you need to find the RIGHT team members. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. If your mind frequency doesn’t match with a person then believe me instead of growing, you’ll be wasting your time. Find people with whom you can grow with! Not everyone can be your team member. CHOOSE WISELY

Tips & Tricks of Private Label Product Research :
I am going to explain everything step by step here!
So, our first step is:
Getting tools
These are the tools that are used for PL product research.
1-Helium 10 (Complete package of different tools)
H10 is a complete package. It includes a variety of tools within it.
Black Box(a product research tool with many filtering options available)
Magnet(a keyword research tool)
Cerebro(It is used to extract the keywords of competitor’s listings)
Trendster(It shows the stats of a product)
Frankenstein(It’s a keyword processor)
Scribbles(It’s a listing optimization tool)
Inventory Protector(used to keep an eye on inventory)
Keyword Tracker(to check the current ranks of used keywords)
Alerts(to stay updated about hijacking attempts)
X-ray(It is a chrome extension that is super convenient to use, just need to run it on Amazon’s listings page and it gives all the stats of that particular product )
2-Jungle Scout (Product research tool with different options)
It is very much similar to H10, it has a demand and competition scale which shows the value of the product that whether it is viable or not.
3-Merchant Words (Keyword research tool)
H10’s Magnet also provides keyword research but it shows the daily search volume while MW shows monthly search volume which is a plus if you want to do good keyword research.
4-Viral Launch (Product research tool with different options)
Most of the options here are also similar to H10 and JS but it has a seasonality checker and a cost calculator which is a good option.
Now some FAQS related to tools:
1-Do I need to buy all these tools?
Answer- Not necessarily but it will be good if you get all because the data evidence that you will get from all these will be more effective and accurate as compared to just a single researching tool.
2- Are these tools 100% accurate?
Answer-No, none of these tools are 100% accurate. This is the reason for which it is recommended to research from multiple tools so that if some tool lacks something we can get the correct info from the other tool.
3-These tools are unaffordable for me, is there any alternative?
Answer-Yes, you can buy shared tools in an affordable price range. If it’s also not possible then go for 30 days trial but keep in mind that trials enable you with limited functionalities only and you need to sign up again after 30 days with a different email address.
4-Can’t we use other tools except these?
Answer- Yes, you can but all these mentioned tools are the most reliable and close to accurate that’s why they are recommended.
Coming to our main topic which is product research:
TIPS
Try to set your price moderately (not very high, not too low)
Calculate the profit margin of your product using AMAZON FBA CALCULATOR.
Go for those products only that are giving you at least 30% profit margin.
Don’t go for breakable and flammable products (return ratio will be high also you will have to spend an additional $$ for protective packaging which will ultimately reduce your profit margin.
Don’t go for the products that need many variations like sizes, colors, etc (like clothes)
Avoid Amazon restricted categories products because you will have to spend an extra $$ to get certifications and approval for selling.
Choose non-seasonal products only.
Choose those products only which are eligible for both air and sea shipping.
TRICKS
Search on Amazon and MW with incomplete keyword (for example: wooden) and they will give you suggestions of best products by completing the keyword (i.e. wooden spoon)
Search random alphabets with minus string on MW like this (-sdfvsdvsb). MW will give all the highest search volume keywords of different categories.
Search product on Alibaba like you search on Amazon and find hot selling items in different categories.
You can also search on Ali express, eBay, DH gate, made in China, and other online market places.
Check Pinterest, Social Media sites, blogs, etc for top and trending products.
You can get a good product even if you spy on sellers also if you have good contacts with product suppliers you can ask them for suggesting some hot trending products.
You can also spy on buyers. Just visit their buyer profile you will get their reviews for different products and from these, you can get a clear idea about what buyers want.
You can search on different brand analytics sheets as well.
Consider those products only which have a moderate number of reviews in different listings.
Search on different coupon websites.
Now you can follow the EC criteria for hunting your product by keeping in mind all these points.
