Mathematics has two tracks
1. BS Mathematics (Admissions based on regular and self finance basis)
2. BS Mathematics with Finance and Economics. Admissions based on self finance. Great program, which is a blend of mathematics with finance and economics courses.
Key points are
1. *Updated new curriculum with inclusion of two programming courses.*
2. *Data structure and algorithm, machine learning, and data science courses are added in the new revised scheme.*
3. *Internship is mandatory along with capstone project.*

With great sorrow, we remember Professor Dr. Tariq Shah, a distinguished mathematician and esteemed professor at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad, who passed away a few days ago. His dedication to mathematics, mentorship, and research has left a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues.

Dr. Tariq Shah was not only a brilliant scholar but also a kind and humble mentor. His guidance and generosity will always be cherished by those who had the privilege of learning from him.
