A day dedicated to celebrating the amazing work that women engineers around the world are doing to support lives and livelihoods every day. Figures as of June 2021 show that 16.5% of engineers are women.
The theme for this year's Women In Engineering Day is INVENTORS AND INNOVATORS (by Women Engineering Society) .
INWED gives women engineers around the world a profile when they are still largely under-represented in their professions. As the only platform of its kind. it plays a vital role in encouraging more young women and girls to take up engineering careers.

Hailing from SADA, NUST, Amna is the person who'll guide you all you need to know about what to expect in NET for Architecture and how to ace it.
"I'm a first year student of architecture, the subjects i had in Alevels were math, physics and economics. I believe I can guide students that are looking to give their NETS for bachelors in architecture and bachelors in industrial design effectively. I will impart tips and tricks and guide them how to study for it. I know first hand how scary it is to give NETS without proper guidance with my friendly personality I hope to make the experience of giving NETs less frightening by preparing students on how to go about it."

My strong concepts helped in achieving 90%+ in matric and Fsc. Plus i was among the top 70 students in the NET admission pool.
I consider myself none other than a student interested in guiding and mentoring younger students in identifying their career path in the STEM fields. The experience of choosing a career by taking a gap year and mentoring hundreds of students along with their parents surely helped me learn a lot about students from diverse backgrounds and contraints trying to grow out of their shell.
I neither like nor do i suggest spoon feeding of information. Instead, i guide the way and ask the students to explore it. This method not only helps the student freely discover his potential , it helps them observe the world around them and who knows what they might discover along the way.
