Showcasing Innovation in Su***de Prevention at Digital Summit 4.0

DCP is proud to share that Dr. Ayat-e-Zainab Ali, Assistant Professor, and Prof. Dr. Tamkeen Saleem presented the MinPlan App at Digital Summit 4.0 as part of their ongoing Su***de Prevention Project.

MinPlan is a digital platform based on concept of the Safety Planning Intervention (SPI)β€”an evidence-based approach widely used in su***de prevention. The app is designed to complement, not replace, professional mental health care and crisis support services.

During the presentation, Dr. Ayat-e-Zainab Ali highlighted the potential of MinPlan as a valuable self-help tool that empowers individuals to monitor their well-being, identify coping strategies, and access support during times of distress. She also emphasized its relevance for research, clinical training, self-monitoring, crisis management, and digital mental health interventions.

As mental health care increasingly embraces technology, innovations like MinPlan demonstrate how digital solutions can enhance accessibility, prevention efforts, and psychological support.
