Tomorrow evening, we shall be warmly welcoming law students from all across Pakistan for the three-day event laden with charged-up moot court sessions, culminating in the finale on January 28.

Event organised by NUST Law Moot Society in collaboration with Jessup - International Law Students Association.

NUST winner of All Pakistan universities debate Competition 2021-22

NUST law department is proud of our two talented students Muhammad Ayaan Shehryar and Muhammad Faisal Hayat who not only took part in the National Rounds of Debating Championship conducted by Higher Education Commission but also stood first in it. This national round was comprised of all the well known universities throughout Pakistan from all the Provinces.
This accomplishment is the proof of their diligence and devotion to their work and their ever readiness to take up new challenges and having the bravery to prevail over what they set their minds to. We hope to see them winning like this and filling our department with pride forever.

Dr.Nudrat Ejaz Paracha Advocate Islamabad High Court was invited for a guest lecture with LLB-2K20 by Sir Sikandar, Assistant Professor NUST. The students were delighted to meet her and learned a lot from her. The department will keep on arranging such lectures for the betterment of it's students.

The students of Law Department, S3H- NUST visited the District Courts in Islamabad.

The LLB 2k21 batch of Law Department, NUST had the opportunity to visit the District Courts of Islamabad on 18 Feb 2022. The visit was hosted by Dr. Saqib Jawad, Civil Judge/Judicial Magistrate. He was assisted by young lawyers from the Islamabad Bar Association, namely, Ms. Rabia, Ms. Ayesha & Ms. Almas Advocates.
The delegation was welcomed by Dr. Saqib Jawad at the Sessions parking followed by a detailed briefing of Honourable Kamran Basharat M***i, District & Sessions Judge.
After the briefing, students were divided into four groups and were asked to see the proceedings of different courts. In some courts, the honourable judges briefed the students after the proceedings were ended.
The delegation was also invited by the President of Islamabad High Court Bar Association, Mr. Zahid Mahmood Raja, Mr
Hafeez Ullah Yaqoob, Preaident Islamabad Bar Association, Mr
Malik Qamar Abbas, the Vice Preaident and Mr. Bilal Mughal, the General Secretary. They briefed the students about future opportunities for young lawyers.
The visit was ended by having a group photo of the students with the District & Sessions Judge and Dr. Saqib Jawad. The students were accompanied by Mr. Sami Ur Rahman Assistant Professors of Law and Ms. Haniya Hassan, Lecturer in Law- NUST.
Mr. Sami thanked the District & Sessions Judge, Dr. Saqib Jawad, Presidents and other office bearers of IHCBA & IBA and the young lawyers for their time, valuable information, kind guidance and assistance.
It was a learning experience for the fresh law students.

Faizan Amir, LLB 2k20, is the champion of Inter Nust Volleyball Championship 2021. We all at the Dept as well as S3H, congratulate him for his matchless performance in volleyball.

Waleed Iqbal, LLB 2k21 is the champion of Inter Nust Table Tennis Championship 2021. We all at the Department as well as S3H congratulate him for his matchless performance in table tennis.

To commemorate the landmark event of the adoption of the Universal Human Rights Declaration by the United Nations, the department of law organized an event on the 10th of December i.e., Human Rights Day. The ceremony was graced with the presence of the honorable speakers; Dr. Rubina Farid and Dr. Rubina Feroze, members of the National Commission on Rights of Child (NCRC), joined by child members; Mr. Tajdar Hashmi and Ms. Faryal Javed of the same organization, as well as Mr. Manzoor Masih from the National Commission for Human Rights (NCHR). Ms. Rehma Rubab Haider, a faculty member at S3H; Head of the Law Department, Dr. Muhammad Asif Khan; and Professor Sami Ur Rahman also added their valuable remarks. The esteemed guests enlightened the students of law and public administration about this crucial topic. The seminar was quite a learning experience for the students.
