Making traffic signal craft sandwiches isn’t just about preparing healthy snacks for kids (though they love the 🔴🍅, 🟡🥚, and 🟢🥒). It is a carefully curated lesson designed for early childhood development and essential life skills:
Fine Motor Development: Students practice scooping, spreading, and placing ingredients to build hand strength and coordination.
Sequence & Planning: Following the order (slice of bread, place filling and the other slice) strengthens cognitive sequencing and practical aspects.

Learning traffic rules, the delicious way! Fridays at Future Smart Inclusive School are packed with movement, creativity, and hands-on learning! Today, our students got active and explored essential safety concepts through a mix of play, movement, and flavor.
Here is how we spent the day: We kicked off the morning with a joyful Zumba session, getting everyone moving, boosting gross motor skills together in a fun, inclusive environment. Through interactive demonstrations and catchy traffic signal poems, students learned what each color means building real-world awareness and safety habits. And then finally, our learning reached the kitchen! Our kids crafted their own healthy traffic light sandwiches using three colorful ingredients:
🔴 Red: Fresh Tomatoes
🟡 Yellow: Egg Yolks
🟢 Green: Cucumbers Connecting sensory play, fine motor development, and practical life skills makes learning stick!

Safety first! Future leaders in the making! Today, our students got hands-on experience learning essential fire safety for kids through interactive and practical activities at school. Watching our young learners build confidence during this preschool safety workshop while discovering how to handle real-world emergency gear is what hands-on school activities are all about.
