Does your child know when to add -s and when to add -es to make a word plural? 🤔

Here’s a simple rule to remember! 💡

🔹 Words ending in s, x, z, sh, ch → add -es
👉 bus → buses
👉 box → boxes
👉 quiz → quizzes
👉 dish → dishes
👉 bench → benches

🔹 For most other words → just add -s!
👉 cat → cats
👉 book → books
👉 pencil → pencils

🎯 Teach the rule, not just the answer!

🏡 کیا آپ کا بچہ واقعی “پڑھنے میں کمزور” ہے؟

یا شاید… اسے سیکھنے کا صحیح ماحول نہیں ملا؟

کبھی غور کیا ہے کہ ایک ہی عمر کے دو بچے ایک ہی کتاب پڑھتے ہیں، ایک ہی lesson سنتے ہیں، لیکن ان کی learning بالکل مختلف ہوتی ہے؟

ایک بچہ فوراً جواب دے دیتا ہے۔
دوسرا سوچنے میں وقت لیتا ہے۔

ایک بچہ کلاس میں ہاتھ کھڑا کر کے سوال کرتا ہے۔
دوسرا خاموش رہتا ہے۔

ایک بچہ worksheets enjoy کرتا ہے۔
دوسرا activity کے ذریعے بہتر سمجھتا ہے۔

تو کیا ان میں سے کوئی ایک بچہ کم قابل ہے؟

بالکل نہیں۔

مسئلہ اکثر بچے میں نہیں ہوتا،
مسئلہ learning کے طریقے میں ہو سکتا ہے۔

🌱 شاید ہمیں بچوں کو بدلنے کے بجائے ان کا learning environment بدلنے کی ضرورت ہے۔

ہم نے education کو اکثر ایک race بنا دیا ہے:

کون پہلے پڑھنا سیکھ گیا؟
کس کے marks زیادہ ہیں؟
کس نے زیادہ pages complete کیے؟
کس نے syllabus پہلے ختم کیا؟

لیکن ایک اہم سوال کہیں پیچھے رہ گیا:

کیا بچہ واقعی سمجھ بھی رہا ہے؟

کیونکہ ایک بچہ بہت کچھ یاد کر سکتا ہے،
لیکن ضروری نہیں کہ وہ اسے سمجھتا بھی ہو۔

اور ایک دوسرا بچہ شاید آہستہ سیکھے،
مگر جب concept سمجھتا ہے تو اسے اپنی زندگی سے جوڑ لیتا ہے۔

یہ بھی learning ہے۔ بلکہ بہت قیمتی learning ہے۔

🧠 Education صرف books اور worksheets کا نام نہیں۔

جب بچہ سوال کرتا ہے — وہ سیکھ رہا ہے۔

جب وہ کسی چیز کو خود آزما کر دیکھتا ہے — وہ سیکھ رہا ہے۔

جب وہ غلطی کرتا ہے اور دوبارہ کوشش کرتا ہے — وہ سیکھ رہا ہے۔

جب وہ اپنی بات explain کرتا ہے — وہ سیکھ رہا ہے۔

جب وہ کسی problem کا اپنا solution تلاش کرتا ہے — وہ سیکھ رہا ہے۔

Learning ہر وقت desk پر بیٹھ کر نہیں ہوتی۔

🌍 اور یہی homeschooling کا خوبصورت پہلو ہے۔

Homeschooling کا مطلب بچے کو دنیا سے الگ کرنا نہیں۔

بلکہ بچے کو دنیا سے سیکھنے کے زیادہ مواقع دینا ہے۔

گھر کی kitchen ایک Science lab بن سکتی ہے۔

Shopping ایک Maths lesson بن سکتی ہے۔

کہانی Reading اور Language skills develop کر سکتی ہے۔

روزمرہ کے چھوٹے فیصلے بچے کو independence سکھا سکتے ہیں۔

اور ایک simple conversation اس کی communication اور thinking skills کو بہتر بنا سکتی ہے۔

❤️ لیکن ایک بات بہت ضروری ہے…

Homeschooling کوئی magic formula نہیں۔

یہ ہر family کے لیے آسان بھی نہیں۔

اس میں patience چاہیے، planning چاہیے، consistency چاہیے اور سب سے بڑھ کر بچے کو سمجھنے کی کوشش چاہیے۔

اور ہر بچے کے لیے homeschooling ہی بہترین choice ہو، یہ بھی ضروری نہیں۔

کچھ بچے school میں بہترین perform کرتے ہیں۔

کچھ homeschooling میں flourish کرتے ہیں۔

اور کچھ بچوں کے لیے دونوں کا combination بہتر ہوتا ہے۔

اصل مقصد homeschooling کو “best” ثابت کرنا نہیں۔

اصل مقصد یہ ہے کہ:

ہم اپنے بچے کے لیے “best learning environment” تلاش کریں۔

کیونکہ ہر بچہ ایک unique learner ہے۔

اسے ایک ہی mould میں ڈال کر ہم شاید اس کی کمزوری نہیں،
اس کی individuality کو نظر انداز کر رہے ہوں۔

کیونکہ جس بچے کے اندر سوال کرنے کی ہمت اور سیکھنے کی خواہش پیدا ہو جائے،
اس کی learning صرف classroom یا textbook تک محدود نہیں رہتی۔

ہر بچہ سیکھ سکتا ہے۔
ضرورت صرف یہ سمجھنے کی ہے کہ اسے سیکھنے کے لیے کیا چاہیے۔ 🌱
