BS NURSING ADMISSION UPDATE
As all Open Merit Seats for Male candidates have been filled today so all male candidates desirous of admission in KMU Nursing institutes in Open Merit Category are hereby informed to wait for next phase of interviews to be announced on KMU Nursing Admission Portal i.e. https://nursing.kmu.edu.pk.
Candidates interested in other categories may report for interviews as per schedule tomorrow.

I appreciate the KMU examination system. Students who score only 30 marks in KMU-CAT and around 800 marks in FSc are admitted to private nursing colleges. How can such students be expected to pass KMU exams?

In my opinion, those who can't even score 30 out of 70 in KMU papers — despite receiving full internal marks (30 out of 30) from private nursing colleges — are not suitable for the nursing profession. They should consider investing their energy in more fruitful and productive pursuits.

In contrast, only two or three students are marked as "NP" (Not Passed) in KMU’s own institute and government colleges of nursing, because those students got admission on merit.

نرسنگ ڈائریکٹر بھی ایک قابل شخص اور سینئر نرسنگ آفیسر ہوتا ہے اس لیے تو انہیں ڈائریکٹر بنا دیا جاتا ہے. ۔ دوسری بات یہ ہے کہ ایک نرسنگ ڈائریکٹر جو پورے ہسپتال کے نرسنگ شعبہ کو چلا رہا ہوتا ہے وہ کیا ڈین بن کر ڈین کے فرائض انجام نہیں دے سکتا ۔۔ اب وہ پورانا وقت ختم ہونے جا رہا ہے اب مقابلے میں نرسنگ آفیسر آ رہے ہیں ۔۔ آپ لوگوں نے جو میڈیکل فیلڈ کو اپنا جاگیر سمجھا ہوا ہے وہ ختم ہونے جا رہا ہے ۔۔ میڈیکل فیلڈ ایک ٹیم ورک ہیں جس میں سارے میڈیکل فیلڈ سے منسلک لوگ شمار ہوتے ہیں۔۔ اکیلے ڈاکٹر نہیں جو میڈیکل فیلڈ کو اپنا جاگیر سمجھتے
ہیں ۔۔
آج کل کے ڈاکٹرز کو تو بی پی چیک کرنا بھی نہیں آتا وہ بھی ایک نرس ہی سیکھاتا ہےاور بی ایس این اور ایم بی بی ایس ڈگری میں فرق ہی کتنا ہے کورس سیم ہے دورانیہ
سیم ہے آج کی نرسز ویل کوالیفائیڈ اور سکلفولڈ ہے نرس
کے بغیر ہاسپٹل نہیں چلتا۔
انشاء اللہ آئندہ وقت میں سب کچھ بہتر ہوگا اور آپ لوگوں کو مجبورن یہ ماننا پڑے گا کہ میڈیکل فیلڈ ٹیم ورک ہیں
ہماری جاگیر نہیں ۔۔
