Dr. Hira Ejaz, Principal of Islamabad Nursing College, has successfully completed her PhD in Nursing. Her research, “Development of a Resilience-Focused Education Approach to Enhance Undergraduate Nursing Students' Academic Success and Well-being,” adds meaningful value to the future of nursing education by focusing on the strength, stability, and success of student nurses.

Mark-e-Haq was a significant achievement that reflected collective effort, unity, and dedication. It stands as a moment that highlights what can be achieved when everyone works together with purpose and sincerity.

This achievement was observed under *Youm-e-Tashakar*, a day of gratitude and celebration of success.

Students from across GAK HealthCare International and its constituent institution including IMDC participated with great enthusiasm. Different departments including MBBS, BDS, Nursing, DPT, MLT, and Allied Health Sciences contributed actively to the program.

The event included recitation of the Holy Quran, National Anthem, English and Urdu speeches, documentaries, poetry, and national songs, all presented with sincerity and passion. The society Nabz-e-Sukhan played a key role, where students from various institutions performed under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Dr. Sadia Mubarak, whose leadership ensured smooth coordination and ex*****on.

Celebrating Youm-e-Tashakur: A Tribute to Our Armed Forces, Leadership and Nation

Islamabad Medical & Dental College, along with GAK HealthCare International institutions including Dr.Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital, hosted a special event to celebrate Youm-e-Tashakur and the historic victory of Marka-e-Haq 2025. A large number of students, faculty, and staff members from across all GAK HealthCare hospitals and colleges attended the gathering.

During the event, students honored our national heroes through speeches in Urdu and English, alongside tribute songs and poetry. The audience also viewed multiple videos and documentaries commemorating the occasion. A key segment of the ceremony was the screening of the Group CEO's messages, originally broadcast by PTV News.

The gathering concluded with the Vice Chancellor of City University Islamabad delivering the main address, which focused on unity, courage, and gratitude.

As part of PTV News’ special national transmission, broadcasting messages from the Chairman Senate, Federal Ministers, and other distinguished national personalities from May 1 through the commemorations following Youm-e-Tashakar on May 10, Yasir Khan Niazi, Group CEO of GAK HealthCare International, delivered a patriotic message reflecting faith in Pakistan’s unity, resilience, and national spirit.

To mark World Hand Hygiene Day on May 5th, the Social Affairs Society of Islamabad Medical and Dental College (IMDC) organized an interactive awareness session at the BMT and Pediatrics departments of Dr.Akbar Niazi Teaching Hospital (ANTH).

The initiative focused on educating young patients and their guardians about the vital role of hand hygiene in clinical safety and infection control. The students demonstrated professional handwashing techniques and emphasized the step-by-step process required to ensure complete sanitation.
