Our students from BS participated in Mahrakah e Haq National Competitions held at Federal College of Education.
In the Qirat Competition, Hafiz Muhammad Naeem of our college secured second position. Congratulations to the BS students and all the staff.
I'm particularly thankful to Prof. Arif Ali Bhutto, Prof. Ataul Mustafa, and Prof. Maqsood Hussain for their valuable contribution in securing this honour.
Hopefully, our students will continue to shine in the future events as well. InshAllah

In accordance with the directives of the Federal Directorate of Education, and in the spirit of strengthening collaborative governance 🤝, our college is pleased to announce the formation of a new College Management Committee (CMC).

The CMC plays a vital role in supporting administrative affairs and fostering constructive partnership between the college administration and parents/guardians. As the tenure of the current CMC has concluded, elections will be held to constitute the new committee.

آج 13 نومبر 2025 کو یومِ اقبال کے حوالے سے اسلام آباد ماڈل کالج برائے طلبہ ایف ٹین فور میں پرنسپل کالج پروفیسر محمد راشد کی رہنمائی و قیادت میں "بزمِ ادب ایف ٹین فور کالج" نے ایک پروقار تقریب بعنوان" نوجوانوں کے نام اقبال کا پیغام" کا اہتمام کیا۔تقریب کی صدارت پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد سلیم مظہر، ڈائریکٹر جنرل، ادارہ فروغ قومی زبان(مقتدرہ قومی زبان)،اسلام آ باد اور ممتاز فکشن رائٹر جناب محمد حمید شاہد فرما رہے تھے، ڈاکٹر علی کمیل قزلباش اور ڈاکٹر عون ساجد تقریب کے مہمانان خصوصی تھے۔

تقریب کا باقاعدہ آغاز تلاوت کلام مجید سے کیا گیا۔ازاں بعد بارگاہِ رسالت میں ہدیۂ نعت پیش کیاگیا۔
پرنسپل کالج پروفیسر محمد راشد نے خیر مقدمی کلمات میں معزز مہمانوں کی تشریف آوری کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔انھوں نے طلبہ سے مخاطب ہوتے ہوئے اس بات تاکید کی کہ تقریب کے معزز مہمانان کی نہایت وقیع گفتگو کو ہمہ تن گوش ہو کر سنیں اور اقبال کی فکر اور ان کےحقیقی پیغام کو خوب سمجھیں۔
تقریب کی نظامت کے فرائض پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیر علی خان نے انجام دیے۔
معزز مہمانانِ گرامی نے کلامِ اقبال کی روشنی میں نوجوانوں کے لیے رہنما نکات و پیغامات پر پرُمغز گفتگو کی۔
پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عون ساجد نقوی نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ اقبال نے اپنے مذہب سے جڑے رہتے ہوئے جدید افکار و خیالات کا خیر مقدم کیا اور ہمیں انتہا پسندی سے محفوظ رہتے ہوئے اعتدال پسندی کا راستہ دکھایا۔جناب محمد حمید شاہد نے اپنے خطاب میں نوجوانوں سے متعلق استعارات خصوصاً شاہین پر گفتگو کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ شاہین کو اس کی اونچی اڑان،تیز نظر، خودداری اور درویشانہ صفات کی بنا پر اقبال نے نوجوانوں کے لیے بطورِ استعارہ استعمال کیا ہے۔
ڈاکٹر علی کمیل قزلباش نے کہا کہ کلامِ اقبال میں پورا فلسفۂ حیات موجود ہے جو کہ رسولِ اسلام ( ص) کی سچی تعلیمات سے ماخوذ ہے۔انھوں نے اس صورت حال پر اظہارِ تأسف کیا کہ اقبال کے نام پر سوشل میڈیا میں ایسے اشعار بِنا کسی زحمتِ تحقیق کے پھیلائے جارہے ہیں جن کا دور دور تک کلامِ اقبال سے کوئی تعلق نہیں جبکہ ہمارا ہمسایہ ملک ایران اقبال کے انقلابی فکر و کلام سے استفادہ کرتے ہوئے انقلاب برپا کر چکا ہے۔
پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سلیم مظہرنے تقریب کے صدارتی خطاب میں کہا کہ ہمیں درحقیقت اقبال سے تجدیدِ عہد یعنی ان کے نقش قدم پر چلنے کا عہد کرنا چاہیے۔انھوں نے کہا کہ اقبال کے مخاطَب بوڑھے،عمر رسیدہ افراد نہیں بلکہ جوان ہی ان کے مخاطب ہیں جس کا ذکر انھوں نے اپنے کلام میں جابجا کیا ہے۔
اقبال نے اپنے زمانے کی اعلیٰ ترین تعلیمی ڈگری حاصل کی لہذا ہمارے نوجوان اعلیٰ تعلیم کے حصول کے لیے کوشاں رہیں۔اقبال نے قانون بھی پڑھا اور کبھی قانون شکنی نہیں کی حتی ان کے مخالفین بھی ان پر قانون شکنی کا الزام نہ لگا سکے۔ہمیں بھی قانون کا احترام کرتے ہوئے ہمیشہ نظم و ضبط کا بھرپور خیال رکھنا چاہیے۔
اقبال اپنے سچے موقف پر ڈٹے رہتے تھے خواہ ان کا موقف کسی بزرگ/ بڑے کے موقف کے ناموافق ہی کیوں نہ ہو۔ہمیں بھی بلا خوف و جھجھک حق اور سچ پر ڈٹے رہنا چاہیے۔ اقبال نے دانستہ طور پر ایسی کوئی بات نہیں کی جس کی وجہ سے انھیں اللہ کے حضور خجالت کا سامنا کرنا پڑے۔ہمیں ان تمام امور میں اقبال کے نقش قدم پر چلنے کی پوری کوشش کرنی چاہیے۔
تقریب کے آخر میں پرنسپل کالج جناب محمد راشد نے کالج کی طرف سے معزز مہمانوں کو گلدستے پیش کیے۔

*Parent–Teacher Meeting at Islamabad Model College for Boys F-10/4*

A Parent–Teacher Meeting (PTM) for the new academic session (2025–2026) was held at Islamabad Model College for Boys, F-10/4, on Tuesday, October 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In accordance with the vision and policy of the college administration and the Principal, this year’s PTM was scheduled comparatively earlier than in previous years. The purpose was to apprise parents and guardians of their children’s academic progress at the very beginning of the session and to ensure timely rectification of any shortcomings. The College Management Committee (CMC) was also specially invited on this occasion.

A considerable number of parents and guardians attended the meeting. The President of the College Management Committee, Mr. Syed Akbar Shah, the Finance Secretary, Ms. Zahida Parveen, and the Executive Member, Mr. Arif Mahmood, were also present.

The Principal, Prof. Muhammad Rashid, Vice Principal (Administration) Prof. Sahibzada Saleem-ur-Rasool, and Vice Principal (Academics) Prof. Dr. Nadeem Ghalib met with the parents and guardians, engaging in a meaningful discussion regarding the PTM and various measures for the academic improvement of students.

During the meeting, parents and guardians were provided with result cards containing students’ monthly attendance records, test scores, and assignment marks. They also shared their valuable feedback on their children’s current performance and offered constructive suggestions for further improvement.

Parents and guardians appreciated the sincere efforts of the current Principal and college administration in organizing the PTM and expressed their full cooperation and support for future initiatives aimed at enhancing students’ academic standards.

🚀 World Space Week 2025 Celebration! 🌍

Our 2nd Year Pre-Engineering and General Science students had an incredible opportunity to attend an engaging session with Prof. Dr. Najam Abbas, Chairman and Central Project Director at the National Center of GIS & Space Applications, IST Islamabad.

The event, hosted at Dr. Pervez Hoodbhoy’s The Black Hole, took us on “A Journey Through Satellite Technology and Applications – From Sputnik to Starlink.” 🌌

It was an inspiring and informative experience where students explored how satellite technology has evolved and continues to shape our world. A huge thank you to Dr. Najam Abbas for sharing his knowledge and to The Black Hole for hosting such an enlightening event! 💫

✨ Oath Taking Ceremony 2025 ✨

On the 1st of October 2025, the Proctorial Board proudly held the Oath Taking Ceremony for our newly appointed Prefects! 🎉

The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Tariq (Chief Proctor), Prof. Saleem (Vice Principal), the entire Proctorial Board, and our former Chief Proctor, who had the honor of administering the oath to the new prefects.

It was a moment of pride, laughter, and inspiration as our young leaders pledged to uphold discipline, integrity, and school spirit. Here’s to a great year ahead—filled with teamwork, growth, and leadership in action! 💫👏
