The Department of Political Science, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, successfully conducted M.Phil. Viva-Voce Examination of Ms. Kainat Naseer on 12 December 2025.

Ms. Kainat presented her research titled “Patronage Networks in the Local Politics of Jacobabad,” based on extensive primary research and addressing a critical dimension of contemporary political and governance studies.

The Viva-Voce Examination was conducted by the External Examiner, Dr. Shahida Chandhio (Department of Political Science, University of Khairpur). The examination was attended by the Chairman, Department of Political Science, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Akbar Mehasar, along with Co-Supervisor Prof. Dr. Kiran Rashid and Supervisor Dr. Bisharat Ali Lanjwani.
During the examination, Dr. Shahida Chandio appreciated the scholarly rigor and policy relevance of the research, noting its potential to contribute meaningfully to public policy and local governance reforms.
