Young minds across different religions (Muslims, Christians & Hindus) came together for an inspiring day filled with open dialogue, interactive sessions, and meaningful discussions on peaceful coexistence, mutual respect, and community harmony. The energy and commitment of our youth show that the future of inclusive, united communities is bright!

The training aimed to strengthen leadership, enhance community engagement, promote accountability, and equip participants to advocate effectively for positive and sustainable change.

The Primary Education Project (PEP) of the Diocese of Hyderabad, Church of Pakistan, has successfully organized and concluded the 4th Initial Teachers Education Programme (ITEP)!
This intensive five-day training session was meticulously designed to equip our dedicated school teachers with modern pedagogical skills, innovative classroom management techniques, and the essential tools needed to inspire the next generation of learners.
Certificate Distribution Ceremony
A major highlight of the event was the closing ceremony, where 35 teachers were awarded certificates for successfully completing this rigorous professional training.
The certificates were graciously presented by Rt. Rev. Bishop Kaleem John, Diocese of Hyderabad Church of Pakistan whose presence and encouraging words greatly motivated the educators to continue their mission with renewed zeal and commitment.

Mr. Brian, the International Partnerships Manager at Tearfund Australia, conducted and facilitated a one-day Disability Inclusion Workshop for the REACH and Village LEAP staff of the Diocese of Hyderabad, Church of Pakistan. The workshop aimed to strengthen participants’ understanding of disability inclusion and assess current practices using a self-assessment tool. The tool examined seven key areas: Disability/GEDSI Analysis, Disability Stigma and Discrimination, Participation and Access to Projects and Benefits, Voice and Decision-Making, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL), Organisational Practice and Culture, and Reach (Intersectionality). The exercise helped identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities to promote disability inclusion, equity, rights, and meaningful participation across programmes and organisational systems.

Mr. Brian Neal (International Partnerships Manager) from Tearfund Australia visited PEP-DOH to strengthen the partnership, deepen mutual understanding, and support the advancement of the Village-LEAP Programme. Through field visits and direct community engagement, important achievements, local challenges, and opportunities for operational improvement were identified and discussed. The visit also contributed to shaping future directions for the Village-LEAP Programme while highlighting the positive and meaningful impact the initiative continues to create in the lives of project participants and local communities.
