I personally agree with the writer’s perspective that modern society has misunderstood the real meaning of success. Today people connect success with fame money and social validation while failure is seen as something to be ashamed of. But in reality failure plays a more important role in shaping a person’s character. It teaches patience,humility and self awareness qualities that material success alone can’t provide. Success built only on wealth and power often lacks emotional satisfaction and moral depth.
The writer rightly says that true success lies in character, honesty and genuine human relationships, not in temporary fame or financial gain. Failure is not the end it’s a mirror that shows us our weaknesses and helps us grow stronger.
In conclusion, success and failure are two sides of the same coin. Failure gives direction, experience, and inner strength, while success gives recognition. Without failure, there can be no real understanding of success. The true measure of success is not wealth or fame, but inner peace, integrity, and the ability to stand back up after falling. Therefore, as the writer says, “Success lies in character, and failure reveals reality.”

Corruption in Sindh Public Service Commission

Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) is one of the most important institutions of the province, established with the responsibility to ensure merit-based recruitment in government departments. Its prime duty is to provide equal opportunities for competent and educated youth so that talented individuals can serve the people of Sindh. Unfortunately, over the years, corruption and nepotism have deeply damaged its credibility.
Merit, transparency, and fairness are the backbone of any public service commission, but in Sindh, these values have often been compromised. Candidates frequently complain about paper leaks, nepotism, favoritism, and the sale of jobs. Instead of selecting the most deserving and qualified candidates, many appointments are allegedly influenced by money, political pressure, or personal connections. As a result, capable students lose their trust in the system, and frustration spreads among the youth.
The damage caused by corruption in SPSC is not limited to individual candidates; it affects the entire society. When incompetent people are appointed through unfair means, the performance of government institutions suffers. Public service declines, governance weakens, and ordinary citizens pay the price of this injustice.
To restore the integrity of SPSC, strict reforms are urgently required. Transparent examination processes, digital monitoring systems, independent accountability mechanisms, and strict punishments for corrupt officials are necessary. Meritocracy must be ensured at every level. Only then can SPSC regain its lost credibility and become a true symbol of fairness and justices.
Corruption in the Sindh Public Service Commission is not just a betrayal of talented youth, but also a betrayal of the people of Sindh. If we want to build a strong and progressive society, we must eliminate corruption and ensure that merit, honesty, and transparency prevail in SPSC.
