HRDF at Bid-Opening Meeting | Phase-III

The Health and Rural Development Foundation (HRDF) participated in the Bid-Opening Meeting held on 24 August 2026 at the PNSC Building, Karachi, organized by the Directorate of Literacy & Non-Formal Education (DL&NFE).

The meeting was held regarding the Establishment and Operationalization of 1,420 Non-Formal Education (NFE) Centers in selected districts of Sindh under Phase-III.

HRDF was represented in the bidding process, contributing to this important initiative aimed at providing educational opportunities to Out-of-School Children (OOSC) across Sindh.

A productive Pre-Bid Meeting for the Secondary School Improvement Project (SSEIP) under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Modality was held under the chairmanship of Senior Director PPP Node, Mr. Aashiq Hussain Khoso, SE&LD.

The meeting provided a valuable platform for prospective bidders to discuss technical and operational aspects, seek clarifications, and ensure a transparent, competitive, and well-structured procurement process.

Health and Rural Development Foundation (HRDF) presented its proposal for the initiative, contributing to the discussion on strengthening secondary education through effective public-private collaboration.

The initiative reflects SE&LD’s commitment to enhancing the quality of secondary education through improved school infrastructure, effective management practices, better learning outcomes, and expanded educational opportunities for students.

Through the PPP modality, the department aims to foster innovation, efficiency, accountability, and quality in education, keeping students and their learning needs at the heart of every intervention.

HRDF remains committed to supporting impactful education reforms and contributing towards improved learning opportunities for students across Sindh.

Represented Health and Rural Development Foundation at the Pre-Bid Meeting organized by the Directorate of Literacy & Non-Formal Education (DL&NFE), School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, on 6 August 2026 at the PNSC Building, Karachi.

The meeting, chaired by Mr. Abdul Jabbar Mari, Director DL&NFE, focused on the RFP for the Phase-III 06-District Project, which aims to enroll 42,600 Out-of-School Children (OOSC) through 1,420 Non-Formal Education (NFE) Centers across Mirpurkhas Umerkot Tharparkar, and Jacobabad, Jamshoro, Kashmore.

A glimpse from the 8-Day Teachers Training Program 2026–27, where Muhammad Amin Arisar facilitated an interactive training session focused on strengthening teachers' professional knowledge and classroom practices.

The session emphasized practical approaches to Lesson Planning, Modern Teaching Methodologies, Bloom's Taxonomy, ECCE, and learner-centered teaching strategies. Through discussions, classroom activities, and hands-on learning, participants explored innovative ways to create engaging and effective learning environments.

🎓 Empowering Teachers. Transforming Education. Building Stronger Communities.

The Health & Rural Development Foundation (HRDF) proudly celebrates the successful completion of the 8-Day Teachers Training Program 2026–27, concluded with a Closing Ceremony and Certificate Distribution at Sunshine Institute of Management & Technology (SIMT), Mirpurkhas.

This initiative was designed to strengthen teachers' professional capacity and improve the quality of classroom learning. Throughout eight intensive days, educators participated in practical and interactive sessions covering Lesson Planning, Modern Teaching Methodologies, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE), and innovative strategies for teaching English, Science, and Mathematics. Through micro-teaching, collaborative learning, classroom simulations, and group discussions, participants developed practical skills to create more engaging, inclusive, and learner-centered classrooms.

The Closing Ceremony was honored by the presence of Rtn. Wali Muhammad Lashari, President, Rotary Club of Mirpurkhas Central, as Chief Guest. Certificates were presented to all participants, while trainers and resource persons were recognized with the traditional Ajrak, celebrating Sindh’s rich cultural heritage and their valuable contribution to teacher development.

HRDF extends its heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Sikandar Ali Arisar, CEO of SIMT, for providing an excellent learning environment, Mr. Shahzad Azhar for his inspiring mentorship, and Rtn. Muhammad Amin Arisar, District Co-Chair – Teachers Training Program, District Co-Chair – Gift of Life, and Club Co-Chair – Education & Literacy, whose dedication, leadership, and commitment played a vital role in the successful implementation of this initiative.
