Directorate of Teachers Training Institutions, Sindh – Recruitment Update (Day 3)
The Directorate of Teachers Training Institutions, Sindh, successfully conducted the Day 3 interviews on 23 August 2026 for shortlisted candidates for the post of Junior Clerk (BPS-11), advertised through the Sindh Job Portal (SJP).
The interviews were conducted by representatives of SE&LD and SGA&CD, Government of Sindh, along with the team of the Directorate of Teachers Training Institutions, Sindh, Hyderabad. The process was conducted in a transparent, fair, and merit-based manner in accordance with prescribed recruitment procedures and guidelines.

The interviews were conducted by representatives of the School Education & Literacy Department (SE&LD) and the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department (SGA&CD), Government of Sindh, along with the team of the Directorate of Teachers Training Institutions, Sindh, Hyderabad.
The interview process was conducted in a transparent, fair, and merit-based manner in accordance with prescribed recruitment procedures and guidelines. The Directorate appreciates the cooperation and support of the concerned departments in ensuring a transparent recruitment process.

The Directorate of Teachers Training Institutions, Sindh, successfully conducted the Day 1 interviews on 21 August 2026 for shortlisted candidates for the post of Junior Clerk (BPS-11), advertised through the Sindh Job Portal (SJP), as part of the ongoing recruitment process.
The interviews were conducted by Mr. Abid Ali Shah, Director (HR&T), School Education & Literacy Department (SE&LD), on behalf of the Secretary, SE&LD, and Chairman of the Selection Committee, along with Mr. Inayatullah Shaikh, Additional Director, Teachers Training Institutions, Sindh, Hyderabad, Member of the Selection Committee, and his team.
The interview process was conducted in a transparent, fair, and merit-based manner, in accordance with the prescribed recruitment procedures and guidelines.

A meeting was held on August 06, 2026 at the office of the Dean, Faculty of Education, University of Sindh. The meeting was attended by the Heads of Teachers Training Institutions affiliated with the University of Sindh, along with Mr.Kamran Nawaz, Deputy Director of Teachers Training Institutions Sindh. The participants met Mr. Mashooque Siddiqui, Controller of Examinations, and Madam Abida Siddiqui, Dean, Faculty of Education.
The following agenda items were discussed:
Upcoming Semester Examinations.
Implementation of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Scheme of Studies for the B.Ed. (Hons.) programme.
Planning of the Subject Support Forum.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening academic coordination, enhancing institutional collaboration, and ensuring the effective implementation of academic policies between the University of Sindh and its affiliated Teachers Training Institutions.

A meeting of the Committee constituted for the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Directorate of Teachers Training Institutions, Sindh, Hyderabad was held on 05 August 2026 at Government Elementary College of Education (Men), Hyderabad.
The meeting was conducted under the supervision of Mr. Inayatullah Shaikh, Additional Director, Teachers Training Institutions, Sindh, Hyderabad, and Mr. Waseem Mughal, Principal, Government Elementary College of Education (Women), Mirpurkhas, Convener of the Committee.
The Committee undertook a comprehensive review of the organizational structure, statutory functions, and operational responsibilities of the Directorate and all Teachers Training Institutions under its administrative control. Detailed deliberations were held to formulate comprehensive, measurable, outcome-based, and performance-driven Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aimed at strengthening institutional governance, enhancing accountability, improving service delivery, and establishing an effective performance monitoring and evaluation framework across the Directorate and all Teachers Training Institutions.

On July 23, 2026, Minister for Education & Literacy, Government of Sindh, Syed Sardar Ali Shah along with His Excellency Mr. Akamatsu Shuichi, Ambassador of the State of Japan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, attended the inauguration ceremony of the newly constructed Government Elementary School (Mixed), at Radho Jokhio Gadap Karachi, built with the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Zahid Ali Abbasi, The Secretary, School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, Mr. Inayatullah Shaikh, Additional Director, Teachers Training Institutions Sindh, Directors of School Education and other senior officials.

A committee working under the supervision of Mr. Inayatullah Shaikh, Additional Director, Teachers Training Institutions (DTTI), Hyderabad, held a meeting on July 23, 2026 at GECE Men Hyderabad to review the STEDA guidelines, policies, and implementation framework for the Bridging Courses. The committee deliberated on the academic, administrative, operational, and logistical aspects of the programme to finalize a comprehensive implementation plan for its effective rollout. Upon completion of its deliberations, the committee will submit a detailed report containing its recommendations for further consideration and approval.

The meeting held on 16 July 2026 was jointly convened by the Sindh Teacher Education Development Authority (STEDA) and Directorate of Teachers Training Institutions (DTTIs) to review the progress made on the decisions of the previous session. The participants also deliberated on the outstanding academic, administrative, financial, and operational matters related to the implementation of the Bridging Course in institutions under the administrative control of the Directorate of Teachers Training Institutions.
