One of the first lessons introduced in the early childhood classroom, this work further develops focus, concentration, visual and fine motor development.
Children will have to use their full concentration when working with this activity. This is because children will be ‘crossing the mid-line’, which means the left-part of the brain is working with the right-part of the brain.
The spooning work will also help a child master the three-finger grip which helps them in holding a pencil too.
