In the post-observance of World Health Day 2026, we are thrilled to announce a special Guest Speaker Session themed “Advancing Health Equity through Awareness, Prevention, and Collective Action.” This meaningful event is organized by Ms. Shamsa Kanwal, Lecturer & Mentor of the SZABIST Social Sciences Society (SSSS) which is facilitating this important initiative in collaboration with the Pakistan Institute of Living and Learning (PILL).
The event will feature an awareness session led by our esteemed Guest Speaker: Dr. Rukhsar Khan, Community Research Technologist at PILL. The session aims to raise awareness about breast cancer, promote early detection, and emphasize the powerful role of community champions in creating healthier lives for all.

The Department of Social Sciences, SZABIST University Hyderabad Campus, is hosting a One-Day Pre-Conference Workshop Series titled “Advancing Psychological Science and Practice for Mental Health.”

This pre-conference academic activity is scheduled under the 16th International Conference of Pakistan Psychological Association (PPA), organized in collaboration with Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST) Hyderabad Campus, under the conference theme:

“Harnessing Collective Action for Social Change: Integrating Psychological Science, Policy, Practice, and Community Well-Being"
