NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC: MDCAT-2025 for MBBS/BDS Admissions.

The MDCAT 2025 examination is scheduled for October 5th, 2025. IBA Sukkur will serve as the conducting university for Sindh province. Candidates are required to take the MDCAT in their respective province or region of domicile. The registration portal will be accessible from August 8th, 2025, to August 25th, 2025, without late fees, and until September 1st, 2025, with late fees.

Regarding MDCAT Conduction Update:

- PMDC to conduct MDCAT Test onwards 2025.
- Revised MDCAT Syllabus
- PMDC Question Bank from the given syllabus
- MDCAT Candidate can only attempt MDCAT in its province/region of domicile.
- MDCAT will be held immediately after the intermediate results declaration (July/August)
- A single central committee will take care of entire process i.e. Paper drafting, ensuring transparency & fairness.

*MDCAT 2025*

_Key updates include:

1. The MDCAT 2025 syllabus and schedule will be officially released in the *second week of February 2025.*

2. The exam is expected to take place during *July and August 2025.*

3. The exam duration will span one month, similar to the structure followed for *PMC MDCAT-2021.*

What kind of Fees hike injustice is going on in the liaquat university of medical and health sciences , is there any higher authority to ask from them what kind of fees they are charging :

1. Extra cariculum fees
which kind of extra cariculum activities are you providing
No any sport's week
No any Annual dinner
No any Musical event
Dispite of that you are charging 10000 from each student means
350 students of lumhs and 100 of bmc
450 × 10000 = 4,500,000 ( this amount is only of mbbs studens while bds , dpt, depharmacy, nursing and so many other departments are not included in this amount where will these charges go ?)

2. University development fees 10000 (every year from each student of every department including bds,dpt, depharmacy , nursing and all the COT departments )
Why a student should pay this fees if you are getting all development funds from sindh government and HEC
450 × 10000 = 4,500,000 (Every year only of mbbs studens while bds , dpt, depharmacy, nursing and so many other departments are not included in this amount)

3.Convocation fees 5000
Whether the convocation happens or not, you still have to pay
Note : convocation does not happens every year this occurs combinely of 5 to 6 batches

4.The most shocking thing is that the hostel fees have been increased by 450% in just one year (this is for all the departments )
Hostel fess from Rs.11300 every year they have increased upto 50100

If this a private university
Note : This university is getting funds from Government every year 10 Arabs and the funds for constitute institutes ( Eg: BMC , college of nursing , depharmacy etc) are separate and also the development funds are separate which are provided by HEC and Government of sindh

I request parents to ask them what kind of fees they are charging and for what purpose this will be used and think twice before admitting their children to such an administration.

Following the approval of the Competent Authority, i.e. Chief Minister Sindh, Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUM&HS), Jamshoro is authorized to act as the Admitting University for managing admissions to MBBS and BDS programs in public and private medical universities/colleges in Sindh Province for the academic year 2024-25.
