In mathematics, a vector is a quantity that has both magnitude and direction. It's often represented as an ordered list of numbers, and in geometry, it's an arrow in space. Vectors are used in various fields, including physics, computer science, and engineering.

For a vector representing a complex number, the magnitude or length is found using the Pythagorean theorem. Here the sum of the squares of the real and imaginary parts of the complex number, and the square root gives the magnitude or length of the vector.
