More than 20 current and former students from Diamond Jubilee High School, Altit, as well as students from other Aga Khan schools in Gilgit-Baltistan, are participating in the 4th annual winter festival in Hunza Valley.

Along with players from all over Pakistan, the young athletes are taking part in ice hockey, skating and skiing competitions.

One of the ice hockey matches was even refereed by the Canadian High Commissioner, Wendy Gilmour, who visited the festival to promote winter sports and encourage the athletes. The week-long games, which will conclude on January 23, has been a chance for young players to learn new sports and celebrate the winter months.

ڈی جے سکول التت کے اساتذہ کرام کی طرف سے اپنے
سکول کے بچوں کو ہوم ورک کے ساتھ کہانی کی کتابیں گھر گھر جا کے فراہم کی گئی.
اس کے علاوہ بچوں کو کروانا وائرس سے بچاؤ کے احتیاتی تدابیر سے بھی آگاہ کیا گیا .
کہانی کی کتابیں آج سے ایک ہفتے بعد واپس لیا جائے گا اور دوسرے بچوں کو فراہم کی جائے گی, یعنی سلطان آباد کی کتابیں کریم آباد کے طلباء کو, فیض آباد کے مومن آباد کے طلباء کو وغیرہ وغیرہ.
بچوں کے والدین نے اس طریقہ کار کو بہت سہرہا ,اس سے ایک تو بچے بور نہیں ہونگے اور گھر کے اندر رہیں گے دوسری طرف بچوں کو حوصلہ ملے گا اور استاد شاگرد کا روہانی رشتہ مزید مستحکم ہو گا.

Fruit day was celebrated to give awareness about importance of fruits. Students presented short presentation on the role of fruits in a healthy lifestyle.
