Expert Lecture on Entrepreneurship | SBEPD | PAF-IAST.
On Wednesday, 24 December 2025, the School of Business, Entrepreneurship & Professional Development (SBEPD) at Pak Austria Fachhochschule successfully hosted an inspiring expert lecture titled “A Century of Entrepreneurship and Excellence.”
The session was delivered by Imtiaz Rastgar, Founder and Chairman of Rastgar Group, who shared valuable insights from his remarkable entrepreneurial journey and decades of leadership in Pakistan’s industrial sector. His talk emphasized the importance of vision, resilience, innovation, and ethical leadership in building sustainable enterprises.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty and proved to be a highly engaging and motivating experience for aspiring entrepreneurs and future business leaders. The School extends its sincere appreciation to the guest speaker and all participants for making the session impactful and memorable.

Faculty & Students of the School of Business Visit EBM(CFL) Hattar.
The School of Business faculty and students visited English Biscuit Manufacturers (EBM) and Coronet Foods Private Limited (CFL), leading FMCG company in Pakistan. Welcomed by industry leadership including Mr. Syed Ali Ashraf (Factory Manager CFL), the delegation engaged in discussions on industry–academia collaboration, internships, and Final Year Projects.
Founded in 1966, EBM is a national icon with brands like Peek Freans, Rio, Sooper, and Gluco, exporting proudly “Made in Pakistan” products worldwide. Alongside, CFL showcased its innovative food manufacturing processes and commitment to quality, giving students exposure to diverse FMCG operations.
Students toured departments such as production, quality control, supply chain, HR, and R&D, gaining firsthand insights into automation, hygiene, and global standards. The visits highlighted opportunities for collaborative research, mentorship, and internships—bridging classroom learning with real-world practice.
This industrial exposure empowered students with career clarity, industry alignment, and a deeper understanding of Pakistan’s FMCG sector—making it a truly enriching experience.

The School of Business, Entrepreneurship and Professional Development (SBEPD) successfully organized an expert lecture on “Leadership in the Digital Era: Challenges and Opportunities,”.
Speaker: Mr. Rizwan Ahmed Qazi, Director (GM), PTCL Islamabad.
Organized by Zubair Khan, the lecture provided students with valuable insights into how digital transformation is reshaping leadership roles, organizational culture, and team dynamics in modern workplaces. Students gained practical understanding of the skills required to lead hybrid and virtual teams effectively, bridging classroom concepts of Organizational Behavior and Project Planning with real-world industry practices.

SBEPD students successfully completed their Retail Marketing Industry Visit to Carrefour Regional Office, Islamabad under the supervision of Mr. Faraz Ali Shah (Lecturer, TVF).
🛒 Students gained hands-on insights into consumer behavior, in-store marketing, shelf allocation, and brand placement strategies.

Welcome Party – SBEPD Intake Fall 2025
The students of SBEPD (Bachelor’s and Master’s programs) organized a vibrant welcome party for the Fall 2025 intake at Orange Resort, Khanpur. The event featured an inspiring welcome address by the Head of SBEPD and included various engaging activities arranged by senior students. A special lunch was also hosted to warmly greet the new batch.
Highlights of the evening included the announcement of Lady of the Evening and Lad of the Evening, selected based on their dress, communication, and interaction with senior students.

Industrial Visit to KIMS Foods
Students from the School of Business, Entrepreneurship and Professional Development at PAF-IAST visited KIMS Foods in Hattar Industrial Estate, Haripur. Led by their tutor, Zubair Khan, the visit helped students connect classroom learning with real industry practices. They observed the manufacturing process, supply chain operations, and quality control measures.

The School of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Professional Development (SBEPD) is pleased to share that Dr. Hamza Khan, esteemed faculty member of SBEPD, invited Mr. Adil Fayyaz from IT Park Abbottabad as an Industrial Expert to deliver an insightful session for the students of BBA, BSCS, and BSAI.
Mr. Adil shared valuable knowledge on the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in HRM, highlighting emerging trends, practical applications, and future opportunities in the industry. The session greatly benefited our students, helping them understand how AI is reshaping organizational processes and the skills required to excel in modern workplaces.

Students from Business, Management, and Organizational Behavior had a productive and inspiring industry visit to Nutrabiotics, Peshawar Industrial Estate.
This initiative was organized under the School of Business, Entrepreneurship & Professional Development, led by Dr. Imran Rafiq Khattak.
The visit provided students with firsthand exposure to real-time industrial operations, organizational culture, supply chain processes, and modern management practices. Such engagements bridge the gap between theory and practice, helping students broaden their professional vision and understand the corporate world more deeply.
