Government Girls Degree College Sarai Saleh

Today, a Naat Competition was organized in the college.

The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. A large number of students participated and presented Naats with great love and devotion for the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The respected Principal and all staff members graced the occasion and encouraged the students.

Professor Dr. Shazia Gul distributed certificates among the participating students and announced the final positions.

*2nd Position:* Uswa Hasrat from 1st Year
*3rd Position:* Waleeja Tariq from 1st Year

The program concluded with Dua. It was a very spiritual and successful event.

Govt. Girls Degree College Sarai Salah had the honor of hosting an insightful interactive session with *Dr. Muhammad Nouman Habib, QEC, Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST)* on *23rd September, 2026*.

Dr. Nouman delivered a comprehensive and highly informative session on *Outcome-Based Education (OBE)*, where he elaborated on the significance and alignment of *PLOs, CLOs, teaching-learning activities, and assessment* in line with HEC and accreditation requirements.

The session was highly interactive, practical, and beneficial for all faculty members, particularly for understanding the true spirit of OBE and its implementation at the BS level.

The college administration and faculty are sincerely thankful to Dr. Muhammad Nouman Habib for his precious time, commitment, and for sharing his valuable expertise with us. We look forward to more such collaborative sessions in the future.

Report on Participation in International Conference
Participation and Academic Achievement
I had the privilege of participating in an International Conference (8th IMRC-2026) that brought together researchers, academics, scholars, and professionals to exchange knowledge and discuss contemporary issues of global and regional significance. The conference provided a valuable platform for presenting research, engaging in academic discussions, and learning from experts working in diverse fields.
As part of the conference, I presented my research paper titled:
“Assessing the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Human Protection and Peace Promotion: Perception of AI-Aware Professionals in KPK”
My paper was listed under Abstract ID 826085, and I presented it during the scheduled session from 9:10 AM to 9:20 AM.
Research Focus
The research examined the potential impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on human protection and peace promotion, with particular emphasis on the perceptions of AI-aware professionals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
The study explored how AI can contribute to human protection, conflict prevention, peacebuilding, and the promotion of human security. At the same time, it considered the challenges and risks associated with the increasing use of AI, particularly in contexts where technology intersects with security, conflict, governance, and human rights.
The topic was especially significant because AI is rapidly becoming part of decision-making and information systems worldwide. Understanding the perceptions of professionals who are aware of AI is therefore important for developing responsible approaches to its use in promoting peace and protecting people.
Achievement
I am particularly pleased to report that I secured 2nd position in my session for my research presentation. This achievement was a meaningful recognition of my research and presentation and served as an encouragement to continue my academic work in the emerging field of Artificial Intelligence, human protection, peace, and security.
Achieving second position among the presentations in the session was also an important opportunity to represent my research and contribute to an international academic forum.

Today, we solemnly remember Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the great leader and founder of Pakistan, whose vision, determination, and unwavering commitment gave the Muslims of the subcontinent a homeland of their own.

His life teaches us the values of faith, unity, discipline, honesty, and dedication. His historic struggle and leadership remain a source of inspiration for generations.

On this day, let us pay tribute to the Father of the Nation by renewing our commitment to the principles on which Pakistan was founded. May we work together with sincerity, responsibility, and patriotism to make our beloved Pakistan stronger, peaceful, prosperous, and united.

Report on Orientation ceremony for Intermediate Part-I Students.
Date: 9th September 2026
Venue: Govt. Girls Degree College, Seraisaleh.
An Orientation Seminar for Intermediate Part-I students was conducted on 9th September 2026 under the supervision of the Intermediate Academic Coordinator, Associate Professor Ms. Sanam Saleem.
The newly admitted students were warmly welcomed by the Principal. The purpose of the orientation was to familiarize students with the college environment, academic expectations, rules, and regulations.
The students were briefed about the following important matters:
Discipline rules and code of conduct
Examination rules and regulations
Attendance requirements
College bus/transport rules
Library rules and regulations
The Chief Proctor, Ms. Amna Taj, briefed the students about the importance of discipline and explained the rules that students are expected to follow during their college life.
The orientation proved helpful in guiding the students about their academic responsibilities, discipline, and the facilities and regulations of the college. The students were encouraged to maintain punctuality, regular attendance, good conduct, and a positive attitude towards their studies.
The seminar concluded with best wishes for the students' successful academic journey at the college.
