AD English Program at GDC Gandaf
A delegation from the University of Haripur (UoH), led by Dr. Shiraz Ahmed (Director of Affiliated Colleges), successfully conducted the affiliation inspection for the Associate Degree (AD) English program at Govt. Degree College (GDC) Gandaf, Haripur.

The team, which included Dr. Abdul Saboor (Chariman English Department) and other committee members, was welcomed by the Principal and senior faculty. The UoH team was briefed on the college's vision and infrastructure and received a detailed presentation on the AD English program's academic potential and resources.

Following a thorough physical inspection of facilities, including the library and dedicated classrooms, the UoH team expressed satisfaction with the college's preparedness.

GDC Gandaf remains highly optimistic that this fruitful visit will ensure the swift affiliation of the AD English program, significantly expanding academic opportunities for its students.

🌿✨ Cleanliness Drive at GDC Gandaf Haripur ✨🌿

Govt. Degree College Gandaf, Haripur carried out a Cleanliness Drive to ensure a neat, healthy, and eco-friendly environment within the campus. The drive focused on maintaining hygiene, proper waste management, and the beautification of college premises.

Such initiatives reflect the college’s commitment to providing a clean and conducive learning environment while promoting awareness about the importance of cleanliness and sustainability.

On August 12th, in connection with celebration of Independence Day, a special plantation drive was held at GDC Gandaf Haripur to contribute to a greener Pakistan and promote environmental responsibility.

The event was overseen by the college's Principal, Prof. Syed Zahid Mahboob. Prof. Awais Khan and other senior faculty members including Prof. Jarullah Khan along with class IV staff actively took part in planting various fruit and decoration plants.

Worthy Principal spoke at the event, emphasizing the benefits of planting trees and encouraging everyone to help maintain a clean and green campus.

This plantation drive underscored our commitment to both national pride and environmental sustainability. The college administration will ensure that the newly planted trees are regularly cared for.

🇵🇰✨ Independence Day & Marka-e-Haq Celebrations at GDC Gandaf, Haripur ✨🇵🇰

Government Degree College Gandaf, Haripur proudly celebrated Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day in connection with the Marka-e-Haq observance, filled with patriotic zeal and unity. The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by the national anthem echoing across the campus.

Honorable faculty members and the worthy Principal Prof. Syed Zahid Mahboob delivered speeches highlighting the sacrifices of our forefathers and the significance of upholding truth and justice as symbolized by Marka-e-Haq.

A plantation ceremony was held symbolizing our commitment to growth and prosperity.

The celebrations concluded with prayers for the prosperity, unity, and strength of Pakistan, and a reaffirmation of our commitment to building a brighter, greener, and stronger nation. 💚🌱
