Government Postgraduate College for Women, Haripur is pleased to share the research achievement of Syeda Kiran Fatima, BS English, whose research work has been published in the Review of Crime, Peace and Society.

Her research was carried out under the supervision of Ms. Sobia Hashmi, Lecturer in English, whose academic guidance supported the student in developing her undergraduate research into a scholarly publication.

Capstone Project Orientation Session

The Capacity Building Cell, Government Postgraduate College for Women Haripur, organized an insightful orientation session on “Capstone Project” with Mr. Rashid Mehmood, Consultant HED-KPK and Additional Director Student Affairs, AUST, as the resource person.

The session was attended by faculty members from across the college and remained highly interactive, providing valuable opportunities for discussion, clarification, and exchange of ideas regarding the philosophy, planning, and practical ex*****on of capstone projects.
GPGC Women Haripur has already taken a proactive lead in implementing capstone projects through structured activity plans and practical, outcome-oriented approaches, moving beyond conventional research practices. The session further strengthened this ongoing initiative by providing valuable insights from a resource person who has contributed to the development of the undergraduate policy framework.

The orientation helped develop a clearer and more shared understanding of capstone projects as a meaningful culmination of undergraduate learning—connecting academic knowledge with practical application, innovation, problem-solving, and tangible outcomes.

The College appreciates Mr. Rashid Mehmood for sharing his expertise and engaging the faculty in such a productive discussion.
