Pakistan Resolution Day was celebrated in the college hall. The event began with the National Anthem, followed by recitation from the Holy Quran and a Naat.
Students presented patriotic songs, followed by a debate competition on
“طلباء اور مستحکم پاکستان,”
highlighting the role of
youth in national development. A national song performance further enhanced the patriotic spirit.
The program concluded with an inspiring speech by Professor Fehmida, encouraging students to work for a progressive Pakistan in line with the vision of our national leaders. The event ended with a strong sense of unity and patriotism.

آج گورنمنٹ پوسٹ گریجوایٹ کالج برائے خواتین ہری پور میں اردو سوسائٹی کے زیر اہتمام یومِ خواتین کے حوالے سے ایک باوقار پروگرام کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔
یومِ خواتین کے موضوع پر مختلف تقاریر پیش کی گئیں جن کا مرکزی موضوع “اسلام میں عورت کا مقام “ تھا
تقاریر میں درج ذیل نکات پر روشنی ڈالی گئی
1. قرآن کی روشنی میں عورت کی عظمت
2. اسلام میں عورت کا کردار – خواتین کی زندگی کے مختلف شعبوں میں اہمیت اور ذمہ داریاں
3. عورت کی سماجی اور مذہبی اہمیت – خاندان، معاشرہ اور دین میں عورت کے کردار اور مقام
4. حوصلہ افزائی اور تعلیم – خواتین کی تعلیم، شعور اور خودمختاری
اس کے علاوہ یومِ خواتین کے حوالے سے عورت کی عظمت کو اجاگر کرتی ہوئی ایک خوبصورت نظم بھی پیش کی گئی،
بعد ازاں یومِ خواتین کے موضوع پر ایک معلوماتی ڈاکومنٹری بھی دکھائی گئی۔ اور ڈاکٹر نویلہ خانم صدر شعبہ اردو نے خواتین کی اہمیت و کردار پر روشنی ڈالی۔
پروگرام کے اختتام پر مہمانِ خصوصی پروفیسر ارم صاحبہ نے اپنے خیالات کا اظہار کیا۔

We are proud to share that Miss Fiza Zahir, a student of Government Postgraduate College for Women Haripur, represented Pakistan Lacrosse Federation as a member of the Pakistan National Women Lacrosse Team at the Asian Lacrosse Games held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 1–5 February 2026.
