یونیورسٹی آف ہری پورسی ایس ایس امیدواروں کے لیے کیرئیر کاؤنسلنگ سیشن کا انعقاد – ڈائریکٹر جنرل سول سروسز اکیڈمی لاہور کا خصوصی خطاب
یونیورسٹی آف ہری پور میں انسٹیٹیوٹ آف مینجمنٹ سائنسز کے ڈائریکٹر ڈاکٹر عبدالمماجد اور رجسٹرار جناب ریاض محمد کی سربراہی میں ایک باوقار تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا جس میں ڈائریکٹر جنرل سول سروسز اکیڈمی لاہور، جناب فرحان عزیز خواجہ (پاکستان ایڈمنسٹریٹو سروس) نے خصوصی شرکت کی اور سی ایس ایس کے خواہشمند طلباء و طالبات کے لیے کیرئیر کاؤنسلنگ سیشن سے خطاب کیا۔یہ سیشن سول سروسز اکیڈمی کے نیشنل آؤٹ ریچ پروگرام کا حصہ تھا، جس کا مقصد اقلیتوں اور کم نمائندگی والے علاقوں بشمول پنجاب (اقلیتی آبادی)، سندھ، خیبرپختونخوا، بلوچستان اور سابقہ فاٹا سے تعلق رکھنے والے نوجوانوں کو سی ایس ایس جیسے اہم اور باوقار امتحان کے لیے تیار کرنا اور ان کی رہنمائی فراہم کرنا ہے۔
یونیورسٹی آف ہری پور کے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شفیق الرحمٰن نے ڈائریکٹر جنرل سول سروسز اکیڈمی کا پُرتپاک استقبال کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ "سی ایس ایس جیسے امتحانات میں کامیابی کے لیے طلباء کو نہ صرف علمی قابلیت بلکہ رہنمائی، حوصلہ افزائی اور درست سمت کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے، اور اس ضمن میں سول سروسز اکیڈمی کا کردار انتہائی قابلِ ستائش ہے۔"
ڈائریکٹر جنرل فرحان عزیز خواجہ نے اپنے مفصل خطاب میں نہ صرف سول سروس کے مختلف شعبہ جات اور ان کے کردار پر روشنی ڈالی بلکہ امتحانی مراحل، تیاری کے مؤثر طریقے، اختیاری مضامین کے انتخاب، وقت کی منصوبہ بندی، انٹرویو کی تیاری، اور تحریری امتحان کے تقاضوں پر بھی طلباء کو رہنمائی فراہم کی۔ انہوں نے خاص طور پر اقلیتی اور پسماندہ علاقوں سے تعلق رکھنے والے طلباء کو اس شعبے میں آگے آنے کی ترغیب دی تاکہ وہ قومی ترقی میں فعال کردار ادا کر سکیں۔انہوں نے کہا، "پاکستان کی سول سروس میں تنوع اور نمائندگی میں اضافہ وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہے، اور نیشنل آؤٹ ریچ پروگرام کا مقصد ہی یہی ہے کہ ہم ہر طبقے تک رسائی حاصل کریں اور انہیں قومی دھارے میں شامل کریں۔"
اس موقع پر یونیورسٹی کے رجسٹرار جناب ریاض محمد، ڈائریکٹر ایڈمن میجر (ر) محمد اقبال، مختلف فیکلٹی ڈینز، اساتذہ کرام، اور یونیورسٹی کے مختلف شعبہ جات سے تعلق رکھنے والے طلباء و طالبات کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔ سیشن کے دوران شرکاء نے سوالات بھی کیے جن کے جوابات ڈائریکٹر جنرل نے نہایت خلوص اور تفصیل سے دیے۔
یونیورسٹی آف ہری پور کی جانب سے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا گیا کہ وہ مستقبل میں بھی سول سروسز اکیڈمی کے اشتراک سے اس نوعیت کے مزید تعلیمی و رہنمائی سیشنز کے انعقاد کے لیے بھرپور طور پر تیار ہے، تاکہ ملک کے پسماندہ اور کم نمائندگی والے علاقوں کے طلباء کو سی ایس ایس اور دیگر مسابقتی امتحانات کے لیے بہتر رہنمائی فراہم کی جا سکے۔

Immad Ahmed, serving as the Climate Resilience & Innovation Advisor for OBAT Helpers and Co-founder of the Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP), has extensive experience in humanitarian assistance and leadership development.
