Centre for Media & Communication Studies has been organizing 2nd Phase of Capacity Building Training Workshops at Hafiz Hayat Campus, University of Gujrat funded by the US Government and administered by United State Education Foundation Pakistan (USEFP). In the Training Workshops, 80 faculty members from 10 different Non-partner universities of Pakistan are participating. The scope of the Training Workshops is to enhance capabilities of Faculty Members in Research, Curriculum Development and Pedagogical Skills specifically in the Faculties of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities.
Prof. Dr. Zahid Yousaf, Dean Faculty of Arts / Chairperson CMCS welcome the participants and give briefing about the 2nd phase of the training workshops.
Prof. Dr. Qingwing D**g from Pacific University, USA deliver a valuable lecture/presentation on the topic "Navigating the AI Challenges & Adapting Journalism & Mass Communication Education in the Digital Era". The participants appreciated the wonderful lecture by the Prof. Qingwing D**g. Dr. Qingwing D**g also answered the questions of the participants.
Later, participants visited the Gujrat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GTCCI) and National Furniture Gujrat.
