The seventh convocation of Gujrat University will be held on 6th January 2023 at the Hafiz Hayat Campus on Friday. The Vice-Chancellor of Gujrat University Prof. Dr. Shabar Atiq will deliver the welcome speech with reference to the educational and research performance of Gujrat University. Controller of Examinations, Gujrat University Tanzeela Qamar has said that it is mandatory for all the students receiving credentials in this convocation to ensure their participation in the convocation rehearsal. For this purpose, a full dress induction rehearsal will be organized on 5th January 2023, Thursday at 11:00 AM at Hafiz Hayat Campus. All students who have registered for convocation are informed to ensure their attendance at this rehearsal to get their gown, degree folder, admit card for convocation and program otherwise they will not be allowed to participate in the convocation ceremonies. No chance will be given. On the day of rehearsal of convocation, students will be provided transport facility from Gujrat city to Hafiz Hayat campus.

To get more information in this regard, the students who want to participate in the convocation can contact the Deputy Controller of Examinations Taqeer Ashraf in his office or on extension number 146.

Professor Muhammad Asif Sharif is Director and Chairperson Fine Arts, in School of Art, Design & Architecture (SADA) at University of Gujrat since 2014.

He is a Sculptor, Fresco Painting Artist and an Academician.

Asif acquired Bachelor in Fine Arts (1999) and later M.A (Hons.).Visual Arts, 2003. From National College of Arts, Lahore.

He served at prestigious Art Institutes of Pakistan like National College of Arts (NCA) Lahore, Pakistan Institute of Fashion & Design (PIFD), and College of Art, Design & Architecture University of the Punjab Lahore.

Mr. Asif has had five solo exhibitions at National Level and numerous group shows at National and International venues. He was awarded the Bursary/Charles Wallace Pakistan Trust London in 2004.

Mr. Asif lives and works in Lahore and Gujrat, Punjab, Pakistan.

A critical connotation of the current political narrative by using the multi layered configuration of triangular equilibrium.
