Govt. Graduate College for Women, Satellite Town Gujranwala

A seminar titled “Banking on Equality: Financial Inclusion and Equal Access to Banking Services” was organized at Government Graduate College for Women, Satellite Town, Gujranwala by the Department of Economics and Department of Commerce.
Representatives from MCB Bank and Bank Al Habib delivered sessions highlighting the importance of financial inclusion and women’s access to banking services. A dignitary from the State Bank of Pakistan also graced the event and shared insights on promoting financial literacy and economic empowerment.
An account opening drive was also arranged by both banks for students. The seminar successfully promoted awareness about financial inclusion and encouraged students to engage with formal banking services.

It is with immense delight, and honour, we share that our respectable,and beloved Principal, Dr Lubna Akhlaq Khan delivered a comprehensive, and thought provoking lecture in a featured workshop organized by the English Department, A workshop on Writing Effective Literature Review on April 25 for the students of GGCW. Setting a trend for the contemporary principals, in a very easy to understandable manner, she discussed the pros and cons of writing a good literature review for our research students. She articulated the need for the trainings of good researchers in academic sphere, and she said that this is also her responsibility to communicate her knowledge to the students of this institute.
The students from various BS Disciplines attended this workshop, and participated enthusiastically in the discussion.
Later on, Dr Lubna, very expertly answered the queries of the students in Q& A session.Certificates were also distributed among the participants, organizing team, and the volunteers.
