We want a new university,not a rename university.
Punjab University has its worth worldwide, we will not let this happen to the people of Gujranwala InshaAllah
Changing the name isn’t a solution if you are not eligible of making a new university atleast dont try to destroy the careers of Gujranwala students.

ہم گوجرانوالہ کی عوام یونیورسٹی آف گوجرانوالہ بنانے پر پنجاب گورنمنٹ کے بیحد مشکور ہیں۔ لیکن ہم
پنجاب یونیورسٹی گوجرانوالہ کیمپس کو کسی صورت یونیورسٹی آف گوجرانوالہ میں تبدیل نہیں ہونے دیں گے۔ ہماری مطالبہ گوجرانوالہ میں تعلیم کو فروغ دینے کے لیے ایک علیحدہ یونیورسٹی بنانے کا ہے۔ ہمیں صرف یونیورسٹی کے نام کی تبدیلی نہیں چاہیے ۔ لہذا ہم پنجاب گورنمنٹ سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ اپنا فیصلہ واپس لے اور ایک علیحدہ یونیورسٹی کا قیام عمل میں لائے۔

Dear Officials of Punjab Govt, there is need of Unuveristy of Gujranwala but not at the cost of Univeristy of the Punjab Gujranwala Campus. This Campus of Punjab University is blessing for our city and has been working since 2005. It has produced more than 40,000 students till now and its alumnis are redering their services in all liver the country. We need new separate university but not at the cost of this campus of a highly esteemed university.
