Who can apply?
To be eligible to apply, applicants must:

Identify as female
Be currently enrolled as a full-time student for the 2021-2022 academic year
Be a 1st year or 2nd year student in a Bachelors program at an accredited university in one of the following Asia Pacific countries/regions:
India
Taiwan
Southeast Asia+ : Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam
Be studying computer science, or a closely related technical field
Demonstrate a strong academic record
Exemplify leadership and demonstrate passion for improving representation of underrepresented groups in computer science and technology

Application process
You will be asked to complete an online application which includes:

General background information (e.g. contact information and details about your current and intended universities)
Resume/CV
Academic transcripts from your current and prior institutions (if you have earned a prior degree)
Responses to two short essay questions (Refer below)
Google Online Challenge (Invitation to the challenge will be sent 5-7 working days post application deadline)
Recipients will be selected based on the overall strength of their essays and application materials compared to the entire applicant pool or respective peers (e.g. 1st year students compared to other 1st year students).

Fully Funded Islamic Development Bank 2021

Scholarship Overview

The Islamic Development Bank Scholarship 2021-2022 is Now Open. Islamic Development Scholarship is the Largest Fully Funded Scholarship for Undergraduate, Masters and PhD, Post Doctoral Degree Programs as well as Vocational Training. There is No Application Fee Charged by the IsDB Scholarship. All the Expenses will be covered by the Islamic Development Bank Scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits
The Islamic Development Bank Scholarship 2021 is Fully Funded Scholarships for International Students. It will cover all the expenses for Undergraduate, Master, Ph.D., Post Doctoral each and everything.

Monthly Stipend Commensurate with the Cost of Living of the Country of Study.
Tuition Fees, if any, subject to IsDB’s Approval.
Cost of Medical Treatment at University/Government Hospital.
Economy Class Return Air Tickets (once at the time of joining and on completion of study) and installation and equipment allowance for the students selected to study abroad at partnered universities/countries.

Scholarship Eligibility
Citizens of any of the IsDB member countries or Muslim communities in non-member countries.
For Undergraduate, Completed senior secondary education (or the equivalent of approximately 12 years of education) with good grades in major subjects.
For Master, Be a graduate with a grade above “Good” in his/her bachelor studies.
For PhD, Have a Master’s degree in one of the fields of study of the program.
For Post Doc, Have PhD degree in one of the approved fields of the program. Have not less than two (2) years of experience in the field of research.
Not in receipt of any other Scholarship than the Islamic Development Bank Scholarship.
Be medically fit and willing to undergo medical tests after selection.

FBISE awards every year: There are Meritorious Scholarships to 160 students at both SSC and HSSC levels each. The amount of merit scholarship shall be paid annually @ Rs.25000/- and Rs. 50000/- for SSC and HSSC respectively.

The last merit of SSC for the Science group is 1087 marks and for the Humanities group is 995 marks.

Similarly, the last merit of HSSC for the Pre-Medical group is 1066 marks, the Pre-Engineering group is 1045 marks, the Science General Group is 986 marks, the Humanities group is 911, and Commerce group is 954 marks.
