Sports Events held in Govt Boys Degree College Gilgit on 27th Oct 2025 and Govt Boys D/C Gilgit Won the All Matches of District Level Competition and Qualify for Division Level in Gilgit Baltistan.

An intensive and productive meeting of organizing committee members and focal persons was held at Government Degree College, Minawar, Gilgit, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. today.

The meeting discussed ongoing activities, arrangements, and preparations for divisional and provincial-level competitions and matches in connection with the GB Independence Day.

The minutes of the meeting will be shared by tomorrow after approval from the worthy Secretary HT&SE, GB.

We appreciate all participants' enthusiasm and thank the Principal of Minawar College and his team for hosting the meeting and making excellent arrangements.

Govt. Degree College Gilgit Hosts Motivational Session on Communication Skills
Professor Amjad Ali, former Director Public Relations at KIU and noted motivational speaker, delivered the keynote address on the importance of communication skills for student success.

Mr. Muhammad Alam, also spoke on the occasion, appreciating the college for arranging programs that strengthen students' soft skills alongside their studies.

Government Degree College Gilgit held a thought-provoking and motivational program today on the theme "How to Develop Communication Skills." The session was attended by students, lecturers, and senior professors of the college. The program opened with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an, followed by a warm welcome speech by Vice Principal Ameer Shah, who emphasized the value of such sessions in nurturing students' personal and academic growth.
