8 نومبر سے اینٹوں کے بھٹوں کو بند کرنے کے حکومت کے فیصلے کے خلاف آج سیکڑوں کِلِن ورکرز نے احتجاج کیا۔ مزدور کے کام کے مطابق بھٹہ مالکان کو سبسڈی اور ٹیکس بریکس دیئے گئے ہیں ، کارکنوں کے لئے اس طرح کا کوئی بندوبست نہیں کیا گیا ہے۔۔

منگل کو اینٹوں کے بھٹہ کے درجنوں مزدور بھٹوں کی بندش اور اس دوران مالی معاوضے کے فقدان کے خلاف مظاہرے کے لئے لاہور پریس کلب کے باہر جمع ہوئے۔
ایک سرکاری نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق ، سردیوں کے دوران اسموگ پر قابو پانے کے لئے اینٹوں کے بھٹوں کو 7 نومبر سے بند کرنا ہے۔
بندش کی مخالفت کرنے کے علاوہ، مظاہرین نے حکومت سے کم از کم اجرت اور جبری مشقت پر اس کے قوانین کے نفاذ کو یقینی بنانے کا مطالبہ کیا.
بہت سے مظاہرین کا کہنا تھا کہ ان کے بچے پڑھائی نہیں کرپارہے کیونکہ انہیں ملازمت کرنا پڑتی ہے۔

Gomal Bricks: Dozens of brick kiln workers gathered outside the Lahore Press Club on Tuesday to hold a demonstration against kilns closure and lack of financial compensation for them during the period.
According to a government notification, the brick kilns are to be closed down from Nov 7 in an effort to control smog during the winter.
In addition to opposing the closures, the protestors also demanded that the government ensure the implementation of its laws on the minimum wage and bonded labor.

Many protesters said that their children were not able to study as they had to work.
